the “you changed me, dean” vs “dont ever change, cas” kills me a little more each time i think about it. dean had just gotten out of endverse and had seen cas when he just had no fucks to give and how wrong it was for him and then he sees cas again and hes basically telling him “please keep caring, please keep trying to save the world” and while the moment is a little comedic the sentiment is still there. and while he did change, he changed the opposite of the way dean was referring to. he changed because he cared more, he changed because dean cared about things, he cared about the whole world because of him. im gonna lose it
