in class we were talking about the black panther party, and how they held their guns for protection, because their rights allow them to do so. but crazily enough, people were so afraid of them, they put gun laws in place for safety! the same people who want to remove those gun laws for their protection once more. they don't care about the constitution, they care about having the power and ability to harm others

Okay but no seriously, I think it’s great that people want to improve the law and make gun laws safer. However, this argument is absolutely insane. Just because something is old doesn’t automatically mean it’s bad. It’s bad if it’s bad. Period.

‘Amendment’ means it was changed from the original. It needed improvement. We should continue to improve and rewrite.
