[The letter has two flowers inside of it, both of the same kind. They've got a soft white color to the petals, and the insides are colored a deep yet slightly pale red.] It's alright, it's not like it's your fault! It was someone I know, but it's been...mostly resolved now.
Interesting! I'm honestly picturing them to look something like white Russian petunias, though with different colors. I'll send some over so you can see what they're like!
[There are a line of multiple flowers drawn, almost as a section divider. They've all been colored in the middle, similar to the flowers sent.]
Of course! Maybe you could come over and say hi yourself at some point, if you'd like to of course. You're always welcome within the Ocean Empire!
That's good! It's always nice to go for a swim, even if it's just a quick dip. I agree about being careful about opening your eyes underwater. If the water isn't clean, it could be dangerous. I believe I'm able to due to being an axolotl, though it's obviously different for you. No fish? That's interesting. Perhaps I'll send you one someday, if I can find a proper way to do so. Either way, I'm glad you had fun!
[There are four fishes at the bottom of the page, each labeled fish 1-4 respectfully. It seems she's given fish number one and two some friends.]
Oceans blessings, Lizzie
[ the letter that comes through the mail has a peculiar little red sealing on it. within it, as well, is a pressed flower - it looks odd, mostly grey and white. when he had been sending it, guy had been a little amused with himself - that makes the second eyeblossom he's sent to someone. ]
hello, miss lizzie! i hope you're doing well. i've heard of you before, an empress of the sea - and unfortunately, i don't lie close to the ocean, so i don't have any shells or such to give to you, so i hope this flower will do. it's been pressed so that it will last for longer, and maybe if you find a seal for it, it could be used as a bookmark of sorts?
i know this is supposed to be a formal greeting of sorts (or, at least, i try to make my first mails to people somewhat formal), but it's been a long while since i've been able to see other sorts of biomes, so i wonder - how is the sea? what kinds of creatures are there? do you have a favourite kind?
[ next to this, is a little doodle of a fish. ]
it's been a long time since i went swimming. i hope i can do that again soon... ah, but that's off topic. i'm not quite sure where i was going with this, but overall, i hope you're well. :)
sincerely,
some guy.

[She picks at the seal, ripping the envelope slightly as she opens it and the paper flutters out, along with the flower. She blinks, taking the flower into her fingers and twirling it around as she inspected it. She smiled softly, placing it down on the desk next to the letter, which she lifts and starts to read.] Hello, Some Guy. Thank you for the well wishes, I am indeed doing quite nicely. I hope the same applies to you. It's true that I am indeed a ruler of the ocean, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy gifts from the land! This is quite the peculiar flower, I'll have to ask Scott about it sometime. It will make a wonderful bookmark for my journal, thank you for gifting it to me! Don't worry too much about being formal; just be yourself. I prefer to see people as they are. The sea is quite nice! It's a deep turquoise at times, and a light cyan at others. It's quite salty though, so you'll get a lot of salt on the breeze. There are all kinds of creatures here, varying from turtles to dolphins to tropical fish. The most common marine life I see are axolotls, however! I try to care for them all equally, but I must admit that my axolotl guards, Sir Strawberry and Lady Marcellene hold a special place in my heart. [She's doodled a pair of axolotls in return, each labeled as Marcellene and Strawberry.] Swimming is rather refreshing, I must say. I do hope you get the chance to experience it once again. Thank you for the lovely letter, and the beautiful flower. Oceans Blessings, Lizzie
[ the crow descends with a caw, plopping the mail directly into lizzie's hands. it blinks at her, a strange look in its beady little eyes, before swooping to rest upon her head. the letter is clearly of importance. ]
hello, miss lizzie - i'm honestly a litle panicked while writing this. you see, i was contacting a friend of mine - martyn, i think you know him - and he mentioned to me that he wasn't doing very well, but then refused to elaborate. unfortunately, due to peculiar circumstances, i'm unable to travel to his world to try and ask him what's going on, and i'm afraid for his mental health. could you try and maybe see him or get in contact with him, to see what's going on?
sincerely,
some guy.
[ there are no doodles attached. unfortunately, this means business. ]

[She smiled as she saw the crow, running her hand over it's back before opening the letter. Her smile slowly dropped the further she got, and she hastily began to write a response, her handwriting neat yet obviously rushed.]
You're right, I know who that is. I'd heard a little from Ren, but I didn't think it was quite this bad. I'll be heading over with Jimmy soon. Thank you for informing me. Oceans blessings, Lizzie [There is also a lack of doodles, sadly yet understandably.]
[She smiles at the now-familiar red seal on the envelope, once again opening it and scanning the letter, her eyes softening as she read.] I do apologize for the slight delay - There were some issues with my mail system that have now been fixed. Is it really the only kind? I guess I'll have to send you something in the mail sometime. I'll grab a flower next time I'm out on land. They sound like they're rather pretty at night, however! I wonder, is it more so a vibrant and happy orange, or a deep and reserved orange? [She's doodled a flower of her own, her best attempt at replicating the drawn flower from the previous letter.] It certainly is! They're almost more like friends to me. I gossip to them much more than they do anything guard-like, but I guess it's good that nothing's happening to make them have to. The ocean really does become lots of different colors throughout the day- sometimes it's clear enough to see all the coral and fish below! We're more similar than I originally thought, it seems. It's nice to be talking to others, it's made me quite happy. That sounds like a plan! Just be sure to take it slowly and don't get too confident, water can be quite scary under the right circumstances. [She draws a dolphin at the end, a label with a smiley face pointing to it.]
