ellie's girlfriend (ellie x f!reader) headcanons.
you're gonna go on LOTS of dates. of course, you're going to be primarily focused on surviving together since it would just be the two of you. but, you and ellie would still find any and all possible opportunities to go off on a little date together. those "little dates" could vary from anything from a night of stargazing on a rooftop, to reading out your favorite lines from a joke book that you have shared with each other ever since the start of your relationship. whatever the case, they're always filled with laughter and affection from both you and ellie.
of course, there's going to be some fights here and there, given that you're both teenaged girls enduring the grueling post- apocalyptic world. but, you always end up together in the end, surviving side-by-side, from dusk 'til dawn.
scenario #1) you were with ellie when she was bitten, and you were terrified. although you were lucky to have not gotten bitten, you still feared the moment ellie would change to be unrecognizable. you made ellie perform "tests" every morning you woke up and every night before going to sleep. the tests were always the same: you had ellie count to ten slowly and clearly, and hold her arm out to keep it steady before you were sure that she hasn't turned into a monster, yet.
scenario #2) tragically, you were both bitten by clickers one day after being ambushed. at first, neither of you knew what to do, and contemplated on simply ending it all together. or, you thought that you could wait it out and lose your shit together. either way, you were both going to be together through the end. however, that wouldn't turn out to be the case. ellie was immune, but you quickly showed signs of sickness a few hours after being bitten. this would lead to ellie's worst fear coming true: ending up alone.

I just wanna talk about Finn for a minute and his importance to Fionna and Cake, or more specifically Simon.
Both of them are going through very very similar things right now. Simon lost the love of his life, Bety, and he's not able to move on. This is very evident from the fact that he is trying to summon Golb and how depressed he is right now. Finn also lost someone very important to him. He lost his brother and he is also not able to move on. In the Distant lands special Finn literally says that he was never able to move on from Jake's death. With them both suffereing through basically the same thing and having known each other for so long, it's obvious that they would both become very close and confide in each other to help the other through the pain they are feeling.
But, Finn has support systems he can go to. He is able to connect to the world he is in better because he grew up there. He has a better reputation then Simon does and a better understanding of the world. Simon is mentally isolated right now. He's a normal dude living in a magical world and no one else around him can relate to that, not even Finn. This separation from everyone else is expressed through everything about Simon. From the way he talks, to the way he dresses, the things he's interested in, even his color pallet.
Finn's important to the show to demonstrate Simon's separation. And if I can be delulu for a minute, I think that having Simon be around someone going through the same thing while being able to get so much support from everyone around him will worsen his mental state. Because also remember, Finn has direct friends and family. We see him with his nephew in the first couple of seconds he was on screen. He talks about how he's going to talk to Huntress Wizard. All at the same time, Simon has no one. Marci is there yes, but she can't be there for him like he needs, she has her own life. At the end of the day Simon's alone.
I think it's clever for the writers to introduce this opposition. It's a great way to emphisize what Simon's going through and bring back a great character. It makes me sad to see Simon like this though, I just want him to be happy :'(
So for the people who are claiming that both Wade and James are lying and just doing it for the money, do you know how fucking difficult it is accuse a superstar like MJ of being pedophile. Hell, even with evidence he was declared innocent because he’s fucking Michael Jackson. The FBI could release a sex tape of MJ and a little boy tomorrow and people would still be defending him and/or denying the evidence. If calling superstars pedophiles and getting loads of cash was that easy than why haven’t other people done it? Why hasn’t anyone accused of Prince being a pedophile? Because the entire estate would sue their ass to their ground and everyone would hate them. They won’t see a fucking penny from them at all. Why? Because Prince didn’t fuck kids, he fucked women a lot of women. You don’t just give millions of dollars to someone out of court for them to shut up especially if you got a fucking crack team of lawyers like MJ did. Not only do we got detailed testimonies from both Wade which based off of their words and body language I do believe them. But there’s also the faxes, videos, them being alone together for a long amount of time, the phone calls. What kind of pop star talks to a little boy on the phone for hours and constantly send them faxes. Why would he spend his time alone with a little boy? If Michael Jackson wasn’t a pedophile and actually just cared about these kids, he would never let these kids sleep in the same bed let alone the same room as them. Someone in MJ’s shoes wouldn’t risk anything being used against them especially if it means they’ll be called a pedo. MJ could be having sex with any men or women he wanted. If I was MJ in the 80′s, I would be bringing home and fucking super models and celebrities every single fucking night instead of hanging out with little kids.

MJ didn’t just groom these kids, he groomed an entire culture. We’re taught to believe that our idols and heroes can do no wrong and anyone who accuse them of anything regardless of the evidence are both evil and liars. Celebrities might as well be cult leaders with how their fans seem to worship. If we want to stop another MJ or R Kelly, we need to change as a culture and destroy this cult of personality we have on celebrities. Want to know why celebrities can get away with abusing others for so long? Because we the fans allow it, we’re willing to attack innocent victims so that powerful monsters won’t get hurt. Stop treating celebrities like gods and start treating them like people.
