In light of the title and release date of Hell Bent (unhinged squeal) I was rereading Ninth House and, man, I refuse to even acknowledge the possiblity that Darlingstern might not happen. Like, Alex remembers the feeling of Darlington's body lying pressed against her way too many damn times for it to be platonic. Seriously, it's around four times.

Okay, so Mystery and Shiromori clearly have a connections with Vivi’s family or something!
The flashbacks are one thing to unravel later but I have one major question...
Why is Shiromori was so shocked and then blushing like this when she noticed the resemblance between this past ‘Samurai’ and Vivi?
Why was Mystery so nervous as well where she looked at him for an explanation?
THEN THERE’S THE FACT THAT VIVI’S BAT GLOWED!
Was Shiromori attached to Vivi’s ancestor?
