Intro.
hi! i'm luna and hillvale is a project that i've had in mind for a while but never really got into writing it until now. i've mainly decided to share my wip as a way to motivate myself to keep writing and to see if anyone would be interested in reading it. hillvale is an urban supernatural fantasy that deals with themes of grief, mental health, finding joy and hope even in the darkest of times and found family. this if is also my love letter to the supernatural genre that i love so much. hillvale is still in recent stages of development and i'm still learning how to code so please bear with me.
Hillvale
after your grandmother's passing you decide to move to hillvale, a coastal university town in the southwest of england. the good news? you've been accepted into one of the best international business masters programme in the country. the bad news? you are in desperate need of a job as a way to fund it. on your way to class you stumble upon a strange old house with a hiring sign on the door. deciding to go in you are met by a peculiar group of individuals who unveil the world of the supernatural world to you and reveal that they work with a supernatural agency to keep supernaturals from harming humans and vice versa. out of curiosity you decide to join them, and they do pay a decent salary for a "part time" job; you could honestly do with the money. perhaps all those strange visions you've been having since you were little wasn't you going crazy after all. i mean if the asda version of hulk exists, then anything is possible right?
Features
customise your mc's appearance, personality, gender and sexuality, along with your stance on supernaturals and your attitude towards your degree, teachers and classmates amongst other things.
befriend the ros/romance 1 of the 6 ros, 2 being gender-selectable, 2 being gender-locked non binary, 1 gender-locked female and 1 secret ro that's not mentioned on the list. (a poly route might be incorporated in one of the routes in the future. i haven't decided yet)
meet different types of supernaturals along the way.
train and develop certain skills amongst magic, combat, technology, weapons and others.
warning: story will be rated 16 + due to depictions of violence, death and swearing.

estevan/elyiana de la cruz (m/f) they are one of your team mates and tasked with looking after you when on the job. they are highly skilled in combat and pupetteering magic. e isn't a person of many words or the most social butterfly due to their hot headedness and intimidating personality, but perhaps if you dig deeper you might find more to them than meets the eye. ryujin hyun (nb) they are your new boss. they are skilled with guns and knifes. ryujin has an easy going and carefree attitude, and is someone not afraid to speak their mind. despite their attitude, they are a very skilled as leader and very perceptive, paying close attention to the smallest of details. topanga o'connell (f) she is part of your team. topanga is skilled in science and technology. she is nerdy and a bit of a drama queen with a profound love for stem subjects. her hair sometimes ends up fried after tinkering around with too much tech or too many supernatural gadgets. hayden ioannou (nb) ze is the brains of the team, or as ze likes to put it the one that unites the last functioning braincell of the team. hayden is blunt with a cold demeanor. ze has a haunting beauty to zem, yet zir every word seems to be blunt and sharp, like the blade of a knife laced in the deadliest of poisons.
