In the first panel, he has his head lifted off the pillow, looking wistfully to his left and saying, “I was his right hand arm… man. I was his everything.” In the second panel, he has his cheek pressed to the pillow, looking down, and he continues, “His confidante… his best friend… his silly rabbit.” At the bottom of the page, Lucius has stopped writing and is looking vaguely disgusted or confused, saying, “His what.” Ed is squeezing the pillow and his eyes have watered.
