i like to draw them squatting quadruped-style because i like crouching quadruped-style myself and i too am a bipedal animal they feel more like feral creatures that way but when someone draws slugcats moving with a quadrupedal gait i can feel something within me crumble to dust inner australian drives me to base them loosely off of macropods so their tails allow balance in biped stance. if they walked like that their tails would be too heavy and they wouldnt be able to move very fast. they would fall over. their back legs are not long enough at all
