I Might Have Overdone It With The Orange Glow But I Like It - Blog Posts

A portrait of Koujaku from Dramatical Murder. He looks directly at the viewer with an expression that shows relief. He smiles deeply, but his eyes are sad as well. His skin is touched by reflections of the sky and kissed by the sun, adding blue and glowy orange tones to the picture. His hair is loose and draped over his shoulder, his skin is bare, at least as far as to his clavicle, where the bust cuts off. The upper part of the picture has a skyblue background hastily penciled in.

"At Last"

It's Koujaku's birthday (August 19)!!! To celebrate I decided to finish this drawing / colour experiment from May! The colours are heavily inspired by one of my favourite Magic the Gathering illustration: "Dueling Rapier" by Anna Podedworna. Although I ended up using them a little different, ehehe...
