Oh no I already knew abt all of that, I just wanted to put that out there because I don't want to be seeing people enable that shit anymore and act like everything is fine, it pisses me OOOOOOOFF it's so annoying that's why I made the rant in the first place

I genuinely have yet to see a literal ao3 comment where someone ACTUALLY questions why the author didn't specify the reader's gender god give me strength

Like I understand if that person is younger and doesn't realize that they should just make an oc or specify the reader more, but if ya'll are actively refusing to say anything then what in the fuck happened to "fanfiction is for everyone"? Like actually call them out if the author is doing this shit whether it's on purpose or on accident because this just can't keep going on and ik ya'll know that a lot of people are sick of it. I'm sorry if this is coming off strongly but I have been seeing absolutely fucking NOTHING but this same exact shit, every. single. YEAR. and it really pisses me off when ya'll don't say literally ANYTHING.
