Being too far from any city or town means that the car eventually ran out of gas, and both Scott and Grian had to travel by foot when Grian started to cough during their walk. Hopefully there would be a gas station or a small resting area nearby.

When I was in eleventh grade my hs biology teacher talked about wolves and started explaining how the internal social hierarchy in wolf packs is based on strength and how they are lead by alpha wolves. I raised my hand and told her that was bullshit and when she didn't believe me I started quoting the national environmental protection org website to her, at which point she stopped argueing. After this incident my grades in the class were never as good as before.
when i was a kid i got a 90% on my kindergarten "what are your favorite things?" test because for the question "what is your favorite animal?" i wrote down "puma" and it got marked wrong because my teacher said a puma isnt even an animal its a kind of shoe
