Gus standing over the exact same slab of concrete at Don Eladio's pool where Max died and then two scenes later celebrating his victory over killing the nephew of the man who killed his boyfriend by flirting with a sophisticated gentleman and fruitly drinking wine before he dissociates and decides that he can't indulge or be happy in any capacity before he completes his revenge in its entirety????
Better Call Saul really is a ghost story and the lgbts keep winning !
“Femme Fatale” by Susan Kane
[From The Femme Mystique, ed. Lesléa Newman]
Watched it ends with us and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was like the expected it to totally glamorize the abuse and make seems like it okay and then a total one 80 and be “no, no we said it fine earlier but its actually bad” but they didn’t really do that. If anything the movies bad because the dialogue is cringe and stale. And the scenes are all so awkward and boring and have such a forced vibe to it, like do y’all want to even be acting like now? And the skip in between the past and present is confusing because it never says it’s the past. Usually movies will have something like “in 1982 during march” but it didn’t have anything like that. And I feel like if anyone who hasn’t read the book or knew anything about it would be so confused. like the one scene of her writing a letter to Ellen. They never talked about that. It was so random.
I hate Colleen Hoover so much she doesn’t deserve a movie. Her books upset me so much especially ugly love and honestly anyone who decides to write a love story between step siblings doesn’t need a fucking movie. Like that was not needed the book would be just fine without that. It wasn’t even the main love story or anything she just did for fun. Every Colleen Hoover books make me think she hates woman. Anyways November 9th is worse and I will in fact spit in Colleen Hoovers face if I ever met her. Back on topic “it ends with us” is at least 5/10 and I hope a Colleen Hoover book is never made into a movie again.
It’s crazy that Tommy doesn’t get how big of impact on people’s lives the dsmp had. Like sure it was messy and not always coherent but there was a message. And there was an impact. like almost everyone was depressed and left with their own thoughts and no to talk to. So like no shit a story about a teenager being basically abused by almost every adult around of him and then becoming suicidal because of it hit close to home for some people or at least intrigued them.
sometimes I have the intense urge to share every single thought that goes through my little pea brain.
