Yoshitaka Amano’s 2006 collaboration with Neil Gaiman and David Bowie - I wanted to make the story about David Bowie coming to the city of New York. Iman is the queen, and she’s waiting for the Duke to rescue her, and she’s been waiting for a thousand years. But when I told that to Iman, she said that in real life that would never happen. [Laughs] She’d never wait that long. (Amano on The Return of the Thin White Duke, for V Magazine.)

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms! These are photos of the most kind, loving, caring, and most beautiful inside and out in the world. God, it’s so great to be able to look up to them as moms and wives. (Also I added Iman, “David Bowie’s wife”) because who doesn’t love Iman!❤️ 💐🌼 and I added Paul McCartney’s mum, Mary ( Paul’s eldest daughter named in her memory) too, she was such a lovely person…
Anyways, peace and love and hope everyone has a wonderful day 🤗✨✨✨
Pitter and patter
In the last third of the night
Pouring torrents,
A breathtaking sight
Lightning and thunder,
Signs of His Might
The bedrooms are dark,
But the hearts are alight
Tearful supplications,
To be guided aright
Cheeks are soaked,
Like the earth outside
Iman swelling,
As if the high tide
If the skies weep in His fear,
My eyes shall do the same
May the sins be washed away,
In the late night rains
