You know how the anime adaptations of otome games choose to animate one route, making the chosen love interest the male lead in the anime? If The Beginning, I'm A Villainess But I'm Not Evil! and Isekai Chronicles were to get anime adaptations, who would you choose as the male lead?
This is a very interesting question because The Beginning is originally supposed to have one male lead - Diluc. If I had to choose someone as the male lead for the anime adaptations, then:
The Beginning
I still stand by Diluc being the male lead. I believe that out of all the love interests, he's the one who spent the most time with (y/n). It may not seem very obvious at first, but he's the one who helped her come to terms with herself, protected her and watched her grow. I don't think anyone could take care of (y/n) better than Diluc, whose feelings for her developed the most.
I'm A Villainess But I'm Not Evil!
This may seem very surprising but I think a Thoma endgame is good. I can't say much because we have yet to get to a certain part of the story, but Thoma has met the villainess when they were younger. As the plot progresses, you will see a significant development in Thoma/Mc's relationship (the development may be even better than Kazuha/Mc's) - and as I've said in a previous ask, you will probably come to hate Ayato in Thoma's stead. I honestly think the love between Thoma and the villainess is very beautiful, and I hope the readers will share the same opinion as me once all the truths are revealed.
Isekai Chronicles
We're only on chapter one LMAO- However, I can see Itto being the male lead. He's just... so pure, so cheerful, and in a way, so human. You will see our girlboss mc lose touch with her human side in Part II: The Inquisitor's Might, but Itto will always be there to help her remain true to herself. He's probably the only reason she retains her real personality while she's acting as a Supreme Being.
