I watch episode 7 recently on Sunday and oh boy!!! What an episode!! The cliffhanger have me wee scared for what's coming next.
Two weeks?! I have to wait 2 weeks?! I don't think I can able to survive it!?!? Ok, I can do it. I'll have my blanket ready for episode 8 aka mid-season finale in two weeks.
Protect Jamie and Claire at all cost no matter what!

I'm sort of back here once again. I'm finished watching Outlander season 7 episode 6, and it's so good!!! I can't wait for episode 7 next Sunday. This upcoming Thurs or Fri, Jamie and Claire blanket will arrive, and I'll be sure to post a picture here as well.
My reactions to episode 6:
Claire, have you learned anything about wandering off? Stay with your dearly husband, Jamie! I forgive you, Claire, because you're badass and there's that!
Young Ian rescue Claire!! Oh boy, I think you'll faced off with William in either next Sunday's episode 7 or August 13's episode 8...
My heart start to melt when Claire starts to explain what William look like to Jamie because I know that Jamie can't really claim William as his son.
I love this episode, and can't wait for what come next, next Sunday for episode 7 (I'm wee scared hehe 😅😅)

Prologue
Jamie Fraser had always been more or less content with the way his life had played out thus far. He had a well established farm, tenants who trusted him and that he revered in return. His daughters were well and happy; Marsali and her husband Fergus had just had their third child together; a daughter, and the bairn was as braw as she was loud. He had received a letter this week from his youngest daughter Joan, saying that she was well at her postulant posting in Paris, serving alongside Mother Hildegard at Convent of des Anges, and that she continued to pray for them all every day (“and twice on Sundays!”)

I've been reading the Outlander books by Diana Gabaldon! I have the first, second, third, and fourth books! I'm reading book 3, "Voyager" and am on chapter 2! I'm looking forward to see what happened next in the books of course. That'll keep me busy until Outlander is back with it's season 7!!!!
There may come a day when you and I shall part again, but it willna be today.

Also my heart come to stop when those Browns people pull Jamie and Claire apart from each other!?! It's so similar to when Jamie send Claire back to the future, and they've been separated for 20 years. Plus can they have uninterrupted date please, and thank you.
I want to hug the heck out of Jamie and Claire Frasers. I'm excited and nervous at same time to see what will happened next in season 7!
I watched Outlander season 6 finale, and can I said: "wow!!!! 😁👏👏👏👏👏". Also when will the Frasers deserve a break?! Protect the Frasers at all cost!!!!

You know what character in the Outlander series was shafted in the television show?
Duncan Innes. That's who. And it makes me really mad to think about the fact that this incredibly shy, loyal, hard-working, slightly-bumbling, flawed man was literally written down to nothing but a plot device to add drama between Jocasta and Murtagh.
Practically nothing exists of his backstory from the books, and none of the characters feel for Duncan in the show the way they do in the books. He's not a former inmate of Ardsmuir so he doesn't have any of the backstory with Jamie, nor the mutual respect that forms so much of their friendship in the books. He's not with the Frasers at all in S3 (Voyager), so he gets no time at all to bond with Claire and tell her his past of being a fisherman caught up in Culloden, and any of his visits he pays them in Drums of Autumn (S4) is given to Murtagh instead. He simply appears in s5 as nothing more than drama that doesn't need to be there, and the series writers even admitted that in the show Jocasta marries not for love for Duncan but out of fear of being hurt by Murtagh. The major difference shows in the exchange between Jamie and Claire in the episode 'Better to Marry Than Burn':
Jamie: It should be Murtagh at Jocasta's side.
Claire: If Murtagh isn't here today, then it's his own choice.
While in the books, while I wouldnt say it's true love between Duncan and Jocasta, there is mutual respect and fondness, and it's made very clear that Jocasta does choose Duncan of her own free will to finally marry for her own satisfaction and not by the machinations of others. What's more, Jamie gives his full blessing to the match, pleased to hear that Duncan has proposed marriage at the end of Drums of Autumn:
'"I've no claim on any of my aunt's property, Duncan-- and wouldna take it when she offered. You'll be married at the Gathering? Tell her we'll come, then, and dance at the wedding."'
There are so many other examples I could find in the books to further my case but I currently don't have the time to read through books 5 and 6 again looking for specific passages. So just know that Duncan Innes in the show is a pale imitation of the Duncan in the books, and I sincerely hope that we'll see a bit more fleshing out of his character in the upcoming season 6. He's not perfect by any means in the books, but he feels so much more real than he does in the show. I love Murtagh to bits as a character, but I feel like his survival after Culloden in the show takes a lot away from situations that happen later in the story, and certain characters, and adds a lot of unnecessary drama to an already dramatic story. Duncan is an unfortunate casualty in that way.

I SUBSCRIBED TO NETFLIX FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST MONDAY TO WATCH THE WITCHER AND SAW OUTLANDER IN MY SUGGESTIONS SO I WAS LIKE....THAT SOUNDS VERY INDULGENT....AND THEN I STARTED WATCHING IT. IMMEDIATELY MY HEART GREW BY THE APPROXIMATE SIZE OF A TALL SCOTTISH REDHEAD.
