The 20-seconds that penelope sings in the epic musical, then the orchestral after makes me so emotional I genuinely started crying the first time I heard it. (It was a starfire x nightwing edit, been a shipper since DAY 1)
You can hear the emotions you can feel the yearning. The way she's affirming to him that she will fall for every version of him that exists and will exist. She does not care who he's become. He is still hers after all these years.
I swear the past 6 months has just been me having tragic and bittersweet ships.
No one gets that one of the core themes of this damn show is love.
Love motivated Vander to protect Vi, Powder, Myles and Claggor.
Love motivated Vi to continually fight for Jinx.
Love motivated Jayce to explore magic as it saved his mom.
Love motivated Viktor to give the rune to Jayce
Love for science motivated Viktor and Jayce to create Hextech
Love motivated Singe to do absolutely terrible things to save his daughter.
Love was the catalyst for every action every character did.
something something despite the all horrors and tragedies of the world, love was there and that's all that matters

Oh my god. Every single character is flawed. Because everyone as humans are flawed. Believe it or not no single character in that show is entirely perfect or entirely evil and that's why it's beautiful.
Jayce looked at Viktor and turned into those girls thats like "Viktor look at me, look into my eyes this isn't you babe".
