So I haven't watched Arcane but I hear jayvik is about a twink who dooms the world in the pursuit of knowledge and salvation and his partner/coworker ends up having to kill him but that's okay because they decide that what matters is being together one way or another even though the partner really didn't have to stay and could've maybe saved himself.
And that sounded familiar.

I feel that bookstreet interactions are equivalent to viktor and Jinx's but in the opposite way. Like when jayce and vi are together, their smart cancels out, but when viktor and jinx interact, their sass multiplies. They aren't like siblings or parental but instead cousincore
