Thinking about Sukuna finally proposing after being with you for three years.
It’s almost midnight, your birthday party steadily coming to a close and it just started to lightly rain. Half your friends are trying to stay awake, the other half raving about ordering more pizza. Sukuna pulls on your arm, asking if you’ll stand outside with him while he smokes. He promised he was trying to quit, the last cigarette from his last box.
His nerves are making him freeze up as you both step outside together. He pulls you into the rain from under the porch and digs into his pocket for what you assume was his cigarettes. The air is chilly, you wrapping your arms around yourself to try and keep the last remaining bit of body heat.
Your eyes widen as he gets down onto one knee, pulling out a ring box instead. He’s shaking as he holds your left hand, and you know that if you mentioned it, he’d say it was from the cold and not him being nervous.
He pulls the ring out, and doesn’t even get one word in before you’re leaning down to smash your lips against his. He’s chuckling against you, holding onto you tightly as he stands back up.
“Damn woman, didn’t even let me get a word out.” He teased, brushing some hair out of your face.
His next words were muttered against your lips before he kisses you again, much softer than the kiss you initiated. “Marry me.”
He didn’t even have to ask, your answer would always be yes.
