My Thoughts on Johnlock
To be honest, I can’t decide if I ship Sherlock and John romantically or platonically.
I’m not sure if want them to be in a romantic relationship because we need more LGBTGIA+ representation in media, and Sherlock and John’s pairing is a good idea.
A detective and his assistant, solving crimes, going on adventures and saving each other. Falling in love on the way.
But on the other hand, having them as platonic close friends shows a healthy close male friendship without any toxic masculinity/insecurities, and showing that two friends can care for each other without any romance.
I started writing a Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Who crossover fic on a Ao3, where Rory Williams and John Watson meet in University and become friends.
It's not complete yet but I will try to update it regularly. So maybe (please), if it seems interesting to you, check it out.
