One of the highlights of @cardpartyhq this year was designing an official card for the show at the request of @deeppocketmonsterofficial! I created one of the 10 original trading cards and received recognition from Pat during the morning ceremonies. A few of us are already heading to the airport, and we’ll be running around Kauai soon! 😊 Tomorrow on 6/08/24, the @kauaicomiccon is taking place! I’ll be at Artist Alley table #33. I’ll also be one of the judges for the Night Darling Cosplay contest from 3-4p (kids) and 4-5p (adults). After that, Drew Gutierrez and I will be doing the ART IMPROV from 5-5:45p. Many artists and vendors are flying in for the day to help with the celebration! Hope to see you there! ^_^

Mahalo everyone who attended the Librari-con Cosplay event! It was a great turnout and a lot of fun, with cosplays from different ages. It was wonderful to see many faces that I didn't see at Kawaii Kon. The event was a big success, with over 300 people in attendance, and it seems like the library is planning to organize more events in the future! 😊 Looking back, wearing the 35-pound proton pack in ghostbusters attire while manning the table for three hours may not have been the best idea, but it was worth it. Many thanks to Amanda Lei Perron, Gail, and the rest of the staff of the Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library for organizing such an amazing event! 😊
This is the final Generation Gap comic strip as the hawaii_herald is folding up publication. I'm taking a break due to managing numerous events and projects. Instead of "Sayonara," my farewell greeting is now "Arigatoo Gozaimasu." I'm grateful to the Hawaii Herald and Hawaii Hochi for hosting my comic strip for over 20 years. Thanks to all my fans and readers who enjoyed my comic strip.

There are multiple posts that talk about it, and I remember seeing a local meme on the many uses of a slipper (flip-flops for you mainlanders) in Hawai‘i but couldn’t find it until this morning when I wrote ‘Slippah’ instead of ‘Slipper’ 😊
