Another ask, and this one is pretty specific :3 Who is gonna help Artemis chose the clothes for the heist not-Fairy-Thief-heist? Or he will do that himself? Because TOD presents him already into the heist, but wouldn't it be funny to see him planning one AND having decide how to dress/somebody helping him to? Early 2000s fashion was... something XD
Well, since he’s not exactly on speaking terms with Juliet after Artemis Experiments Weird, he can’t ask for her input and she is the only one that could have actively helped him there. So instead, he does "a ton of research" (aka he watched Mean Girls on 2x speed and took screenshots and notes) and then raids Angeline's and Juliet’s closets to compose an outfit that seems fitting ^^"
I want the heist scene in Pareidolia Agent to really be a parallel to TOD, so the plan is that the scene starts in media res like in the book :)
For the wip ask game: I saw Daemons on the list and actually made an audible sound of interest, so may I hear more please? :3c
It was actually a drawing I started working on after having so many delightful conversations about a daemons AU with @bittersuite-iv ; I never went past the sketching phase, mostly because the size disparity between Butler and smol Artemis and Juliet was giving me too much trouble :’) And also because I was struggling with drawing Butler, I feel like I should completely rework his silhouette to make him more buff, right now he looks completely off. Fun fact, instead of finishing this fan art I did my breakfast one instead ^^” Maybe one day I’ll find the courage, and revamp and finish this.

The plot : Juliet and her monkey daemon have been up for mischief. Artemis and his daemon have been pranked, Artemis is very upset. Butler is not amused.

☕️ Breakfast in 1994 ☕️ Just a chill morning at the staff kitchen in Fowl Manor 💜 It's been a while since I've drawn our dear Butler. The truth is @iesnoth's design is so perfect to me that I really struggle to come up with something that feels true to him and also like my own thing. It's still a bit of a work in progress but I do like this version :) Also even though the lighting is completely off, I'm still proud of the stained-glass window ✨ I've never really done intricate background details before, but I've developed the firm headcanon that Fowl Manor is overflowing with Art Nouveau/Art Déco architectural nods and so I just had to get out of my comfort zone.
Anyhoo. Look, they are happy 🥰

Juliet would obviously be very much into Chappell Roan, and I suspect Butler would too. But I feel the one song that Artemis would really tolerate being blasted full force during car rides is 'Good Luck Babe'. Because there's NO way in hell he resists the chance to sing-yell 🎶✨"I TOLD YOU SOOO"✨🎶 at the top of his lungs like the petty princess he is 💅🏻
💅🏻 Mullet!Juliet origin story 💅🏻 ... which is : Holly visited while Samsonetta was away, they watched some replays of the fairy sport that I don't know the name of in English ('croqueballe' in French) ; then Juliet showed Holly a few monuments of human cinema (namely, Bloodsport and Samurai Cop)... and they just decided to cut Juliet's hair 💚
I just wanted more Juliet and Holly friendship, we were robbed in canon. I'm happy with their expressions, not so fond of the background but I rarely do backgrounds ever so that's not that bad I guess.
🎃 movie night in 1994 🎃 you can decide what the babies are watching, but in my head it's The Crow 🐦 I just needed to draw something that brought back some feeling of comfort and happiness from my childhood, to escape the absolute shitshow that is French politics right now 🫠 and I loved nothing more as a child than to bury myself underneath all the pillows and blankets of the house with my plushies to watch 'The Adventures of Baron Munchausen' for the umpteenth time. So, here is a rendition I guess.
I hope it can bring comfort to you as well to see smol Artemis and Juliet enjoying a movie (Artemis being super focused as always, and Juliet being absolutely unable to sit still and contorting in weird yoga positions also as always) 💜 (did my best with the TV lighting but on my computer screen I feel like it looks like shit. well, I'll have to live with it, I've already spend an entire weekend on this thing)

These past months have been a struggle mentally, but I’m recovering. I needed to draw our Jade Princess because this idea has haunted my mind for over three months and I needed it out, thus let me introduce : Juliet with a mullet 💅🏻 Just… because.
I’m happy with this drawing I think, it’s too busy but I like the watercolor style. I designed her based on Nonaka Miho ; because like, she has the loveliest smile, and she’s exactly how I picture Juliet in my mind. She’s also a badass !! 💪🏻

Did they truly understand each other ? Not really. Were they friends ? Not exactly. Did they spend an incredible amount of energy to piss each other off and pretend they hated to exist in the same place ? Definitely. But were they still there when comfort was needed ? Absolutely.

First time trying a big piece on procreate, i’m glad I went for a monochrome so I could work on my (non existent) shadows skills. I don’t draw scenes like this very often even on traditional media so I’m quite happy with how it turned out.
Sorry for the angst, mental health is a sh*tshow right now 🫠 So i’m torturing my favorite characters because i’m a terrible person ✨

This could be Butler's Tinder (or Badoo because he's a little bit of a boomer) profile bio. If that's the case, I reckon Juliet wrote it, in fact she probably created his profile and he isn't even aware. Whatever this is, I find this combination of three words is actually a very accurate description of him.
