Okay I know this isn’t monster high and I’m really late and someone might have already said this but:
Overhaul’s whole thing was hating quirks and thinking they were sicknesses. Chrono has a mutant quirk and worked as his right hand man.
For Kai, Chrono’s quirk was a physical reminder of quirks and something Hari couldn’t just turn off. Hari’s hair was a physical reminder of everything Kai hated
