valentine and spelldon are both very smart so they sometimes get into debates and challenge each other like
'i love you spell but you're wrong' 'excellent point, however,' '...wait that's good let me think' 'no' 'no??' 'no'
Valentine is an ugly sleeper. His mouth is always open like he’s a snake resetting its jaw after eating a mouse whole. He drools too, and he steals the blankets so that Spelldon wakes up freezing, covered with nothing but the sheets.
Spelldon is a loud sleeper. He snores ridiculously loud and it’s all nasal so it sounds like a pig had a baby with a fog horn. He’s also a kicker, and he’ll fling himself around and smack Valentine in the face. Valentine is also a light sleeper, especially in a bed rather than a coffin, and would wake up multiple times a night, his skin twinging from where Spelldon hit him.
So they sleep separately. But they moved Val’s coffin to right next to the bed.
Okay but Valentine in g3 has to have long hair and mental problems that’s like his whole character
I see her like that too. Especially since Val didn’t get any of his magic back from her love, I don’t know if she loves him or if she’s just “obligated” to deal with him since she’s his mom
kinda realising that i hc val's mother to be a bit neglectful and disinterested in val. what do you all hc his mother to be like?
You know how Torelai is beating a witch (cough cough Spelldon) up in her teaser what if we have a Valentine v Spelldon fight because “grr witches and vampires are at war we hate each other but we’re actually madly in love”
Wait so is Iris Clops’ father Polyphemus or an Elder Cyclops?
In her diary it says he builds and is an engineer which makes me think he’s an Elder Cyclops because they made the Thunderbolts and work with Hephaestus (a blacksmith), but I can’t find anything specific supporting that idea
But Polyphemus is more popular and called “THE cyclops” because of that. He’s the one in the odyssey who was blinded by Odysseus (he’s the: “who’s attacking me?” “Nobody!” “Help! Nobody is killing me!” That thing)
So I can’t decide which, or is it a completely different thing? All the sources I can find with an answer are like Amino and i can’t trust that
Valentine is a smells person
He has 40 different perfumes with different smells, even if they’re super super similar. Spelldon says he can’t tell the difference and Valentine goes off on a rant about the minute differences they have because he has every detail of every scent memorized so that he knows which one is appropriate for each occasion.
Every time he goes shopping he has to stop and smell the scented candles. He definitely has a cabinet full of them at home.
Give him a scratch-and-sniff and he’d lose his mind
Can we just talk about kieran’s handwriting for a second. I imagined him having more of a calligraphy/cursive handwriting
Valentine being from Ireland in fanon is so fun to me because two of the most famous vampire literature authors (Bram Stoker and Sheridan le Fanu) were Irish
Sheridan le Fanu wrote Carmilla if you didn’t know
I don’t have many expectations of the monster high the movie sequel coming out but I need valentine in fancy clothes
Valentine mixes every language he knows when he’s tired and Spelldon only knows English and Greek so he just nods along and says stuff like “no way really” because he has no idea what Valentine is talking about

I really want Valentine and Spelldon to meet in the live action sequel by physically bumping into each other
I haven’t found a place for it yet but I headcanon that Valentine’s mother’s name is Maeve

Okay so I watched the live action monster high movie and I’m snooping through the credits for hints for the second one, and two people are cast as witches (Arianna Bent and Artemis Pebdani)??? But the only witch I can find in the movie is the one at the end with the crystal ball so where’s the other one hiding?? 😭

Why am I just now realizing that Lilith’s surname is a play on Van Helsing
I desperately want to write a monster high fanfic and I have everything but the plot I am distraught

I’m just now realizing that Spelldon’s last name probably has an Italian ending (ello) because Aeaea (Circe’s island) is sometimes thought to be off of the Italian coast
I’m thinking about the stuff that cuts down the MH vampires’ ages to roughly 160 and not 1600, and in that version Valentine would’ve been born in Ireland during the Great Famine

Seeing people struggle to spell and pronounce Valentine’s first name is the funniest thing to me because it’s the reality for literally every Irish name ever
I love the little detail in Val’s diary that Spelldon offers to “keep Valentine up on the groanings of school” aka gossip and his grandfather is literally Helios who sees all and snitches
