‘ i saw you with my own eyes. ‘ / from raven!

“-Did not,” Jackal spats before her mind could think of a better... definitely wittier comeback but as of now, her attention had promptly been stolen by her hand struggling to fix the mask Raven so rudely yanked up. Fingers grasped the muzzle, keeping it firmly over her face in case this partner of hers decided to go in for seconds. 

Had she been upset about being seen? .... No. Not really. With Raven, it was okay-Not that she would ever admit that-But the sudden movement close to her face and Raven’s own appearing close to hers startled her more than it should’ve. Dull amber eyes had widened, and she backed up, limbs flying and face reddening before she yanked the mask back down.

“Well, I hope you’re pleased with yourself. You’ve snuck a peek at my brilliance-Consider yourself lucky!” Jackal scoffed, teeth gritted as she busied her hands straightening her coat. “Is that all you wanted....? To just... see me?” Brows raise, eyes glaring holes into Raven’s satisfied little mug.
