Kotori: The sweet potatoes Nozomi-chan and Honoka-chan shared with us the other day were really delicious, right? Umi: Yes, they were. I know they were a calorie bomb seeing as they're covered in butter and honey.... But I couldn't resist the temptation. Kotori: Fufu. You even went for seconds, huh, Umi-chan? Umi: But you did as well, Kotori! Kotori: Well, I can't hold back on delicious food, after all~ Umi: It's impressive how you manage to stay in shape, being like that.... Kotori: I laugh a lot when I'm with you and Honoka-chan, so that's probably where all of the calories went. Umi: Putting Honoka aside, what is there to laugh at when you're with me....? Kotori: Lots of things! But I won't tell you what they are ♪ Umi: Eh? Now I'm curious.... Please tell me about them, Kotori~!

KotoUmi is such a good ship because one would think that Umi was the more intense one but then 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂tori Minami pulls up and says she fantasizes about Umi failing at archery because she thinks it's attractive

very brainrotted on AITSF and Love Live at the moment and I kind of want to write a crossover one-shot of KotoUmi in the AITSF universe but I don't know if I should make them both psyncers or make one of them an AI-Ball. Psyncer Umi makes more sense than Psycher Kotori in this scenario but also how do I make them kiss if one of them is holographic.

Kotori: quick, Umi-chan, load the evolver!

Umi: Kotori she just works here I am not going to shoot the waitress!

Kotori: Umi-chan... please? She's acting awfully suspicious...

Umi: All she did was look at me..., you are way too jealous! Who programmed you... *sigh*

Here is a little promotion for my KotoUmi fic. It’s quite short but I have a couple of KotoUmi drafts that I am working on, although who knows when they’ll ever see the light of day. In this fic I wrote it through Kotori’s perspective and tried to lean a bit towards her characterization outside of the Love Live anime. In other words, I took a bit of inspiration from some of her “yandere-like” aspects that the writers toyed around with but never fully committed to. As mentioned in the notes of the fic, I do like the concept of “Yandere Kotori” in a comedic sense, but am overall glad that it was never confirmed in canon. I would certainly consider portraying her as such in a less serious fic, and honestly it would be a fun writing challenge for myself. Also as mentioned in the notes of this fic, the yandere character trope tends to stem from an exaggeration of BPD, which I then attempted to deconstruct and then present in a less distasteful way. Personally, I am unsure if I have BPD myself, but I hope that my portrayal of BPD in my fic was accurate or at least inoffensive. If anyone has any comments for my work, please feel free to leave it on the fic!

Please note that the fic has some negative self-talk and has some sudden intensely emotional tone shifts (in other words, “well, that escalated quickly”). Overall (spoiler alert), while this is mainly resolved by the end of the fic, this could be potentially triggering for some, so please keep your own boundaries in mind before you read.
