🍵 Kumamoto Teahouse 🍡 This teahouse is a fictional place of course, but this is one of my favorite faux polaroids of Japan in my upcoming illustrated novel. When I was a teenager, we had exchange students that stayed with us from time to time. One girl was Kumamoto, Japan. She taught me how to write in traditional calligraphy. I was not very good. But my fondest memory of her is of the postcards of the Kumamoto area that she brought as a gift.
