I know Rocky maybe already knows Celtic myths, due to his mythological references in the pilot/comic, but I decided to be self-indulgent with Ash sharing her favorite ones
Still a WIP, but proud and decided to post it before I try an experimental mix of Water color and alcohol markers-
The fae/creatures shown are:
-The Dobhar-chĂş, or King Otter
-The Muckie
-An Irish wolfhound (whose design is somewhat based off those in Song of the Sea)
-A Selkie
-A Crescent Moon with the Ailm symbol
The two outfit references for the third drawing as well. I simply combined pieces from each suit and added her southern bow tie, while I kept the dress the same but simplistic.
This took me about all month, though it was sporadic bursts of work and then radio silence, but still.
incase the character card didnât come in well:
Born: September 15th, 1901.
St. Louis, Missouri.
Sylvia, the devoted nurse turned Smuggler after the wealthy Knight family disowned her and her career went south, is a cool, collected and graceful woman, she has a past as clouded in torment and adversity as the cigar smoke that clings to the ceiling of her Bossâs office, despite this, her confidence is unwavering, and her determination to see an order or operation to a successful end, with just as much desire to insure the well being of her coworkers, is infinite, no matter howâŚ.annoying some of them may beâŚ.
She worked her way up the ladder and managed to get the attention of the Marigold, and being the opportunist she is, she knew there was no other way up, but through a established and powerful outfit, and now she applies the same meticulous techniques and enigmatic approach as a Marigold Operative as she had in her life as a smuggler, her strategic mind and attention to fine details leading Asa Sweet to pair her up with Mordecai Heller,-Though, the feminine touch and endless reminders of how bad smoking is, is a bonus no one asked for- leading to a successful partnership, even if she wasnât fond of the idea at firstâŚ.
Iâll be posting her character card too, which has all this information on it also.
Iâve been thinking about her none stop honestly, and I want to make a much more detailed sheet one day, but this will have to do, especially since I will have her on ArtFight this yearđ
-đ¤ Marjorie Ford, the woman behind the smile đЎ-
Hey there!
YUP,
after the embarrassingly LONG time of two months and 19 days after the opening of this silly Tumblr blog and the introduction of Margoâs cute character on the Lackafandom scene, I FINALLY finished her character sheet for all of you sweet folk to witness my delusional fantasies of blood-streaked glamour and romance!
Why did this take me so much time? Simple. As usual, I canât use Ibis Paint X, and draw digitally with my smol fingers on my equally smol and silly phone.
As such an inept as I am, the background of Marjorieâs illustration is in fact NOT product of my dubious artistic skills: I downloaded it from a free stock of âaesthetic garden background, wallpapers and illustrationâ I found on Trailsandfreedom.com .
No, I swear I am not being paid to advertise them or anything, I merely feel the urge to leave credits with my pesky moral code nagging at my conscience.
Here is the original picture, on which I then dared to add some filters to get the dull coloring I wanted.
Also, here is the original pencil sketch of Margoâs, this time proudly produced by myself only:
Sheâs supposed to be sporting some fancy Victorian-gothic style dress, hat and parasol to recall of Mordecaiâs own elegant fashion sense. I didnât add any gloves because at the beginning I wanted her to, like, sting herself with the rose to draw blood and symbolise the assassination business and all that jazz.
And, nada, thatâs the end of my interminable poem of thought process! I hope this gave some proper insight on Margoâs otherwise mysterious character, and it it managed to entice your curiosity about her, feel free to nag me in my asks!

that took me way to long to make as someone with an inconsistent art style-
Happy Fathers Day!
color ver under cut
also Ace's dad reveal
with my Lackadaisy OC
Trying to get back into digital art and decided to try to practice lighting
Aromantic/Asexual (with what little attraction she experiences being mspec) and Agender!
More practice drawings of her under the cut:
A Practice page for Ash, that contains her spot positions, a human design, and a Lackadog design.
A very messy sketch of younger Ash with her two little brothers
And Ash/Rocky piece cause theyâre literally an unconventional Sun/Moon dynamic- ((Ignore how Ashâs eye colors are swapped in the last image,,,))
((Also, all traditional due to my pencil for my tablet decided to stop working-))
Aislingâs Bio Pic!
My silly little cat who has emotional issues and philophobiađĽ°
Mobile has made it a little blurry, so hopefully if you click on it itâll become clearer-
The illustration was based off of this Saturday Evening Post by Coles Phillips.
I spent way more time than Iâd like to admit simply going through an archive and looking at his art, even after I found the one I would reference.
And I did swap the mirror for a bouquet of flowers that I spent way too long looking into the meanings off and also changed the back to a record.
Her dress in the illustration is almost a 1:1 of this one from the Met Museum archive, called Robe de Style made by Jeanne Lanvin.
Of course, itâs fancier than what Aisling would be able to afford, and I added a few flap layers that you canât see in the illustration. But Iâm a sucker for black clothes and I felt it contrasted nicely against her mostly white fur.
Thereâs not much to say about the portrait outfit. You canât see most of it, but Iâve decided on a simple beige button up, with a green country bow tie, and long pleated navy skirt. You can kind of see it fully in the small photograph at the bottom.
I also, of course, had to add a small UTDM Easter Egg in it as well. Marius and Jack are the two faceless cats within the photograph underneath the illustration. Itâs based off of the Save/Load screen where in the report it mentions how your PC is circled.
First actual art post- woo!
Messy traditional art as I try to finalize Aislingâs design-
[[Mobile camera quality sucks :â) ]]
Jack: I ainât drinkinâ nothinâ called âBloody Maryâ
Aisling: Yeah. You first, Marius
Marius: What? Zat monstrosity?! No-
MĂĄire: A knight on a white horse, quite romantic. A creative spirit, riding to you, or you to him.
Maria/Malwina: Oh! The knight of cups! How romantic âĄ
Aisling: *Was thinking of the crazy, eccentric violinist*
Only the calico with short hair is my OC, who for now is names Aisling Mayfield, the others belong to an amazing interactive Lackadaisy fanfic called Under the Devilâs Moon created by @libras-interactives and the UTDM OCs designs I used the designs from @acesandocs
Remember my Lackadaisy Oc, Rita? Well, I finally got around to making her husband, Felix!
Felix is a railroad worker who secretly smuggles alcohol on trains to different speakeasies.
After creating Rita, I decided to create her own little poster and info page. The info page is currently being worked on but for now, here is her poster! :)
(Sorry for the poor resolution, it messed up during uploading)
Now that my art block is slowly disappearing, I decided to watch an animated pilot that never fails to impress me: Lackadaisy!
Afterwards, I decided to make a little Lackadaisy Oc. Meet Rita Summers, a struggling waitress who works a night job as a flapper dancer. She hopes to explore the world one day with her husband, Felix.
(I might change up her design a bit in the future!)
Rocky Rickaby; wearing Will Woodâs suit from his âLove, Me Normallyâ music video! I drew this because I felt like Rocky would also be the kinda guy to keep rats in his pocket
Speedpaint on my yt!
I GOT LACKADAISY PATREON MWHAHAH IM SO EXCITED
