Mic master of Flora and cole master of Earth
Mic got her element and her true potential at the temple of Light and from that day on she helped the ninja on missions
One of my favourite things about Lloyd Garmadon is that the name 'Lloyd' comes from the Welsh name/word 'Llwyd,' meaning grey- which perfectly coincides with Lloyd being a sort of grey area between oni and dragon*
Another thing that makes me laugh is that in TLNM both Lloyd and Lord Garmadon are technically wrong about the pronunciation of the 'LL' in Lloyd's name. 'LL' is a single letter in Welsh, and is pronounced as sort of an aerated 'L' sound (idk how to describe it)
Of course that sound doesn't exist in English, and Lloyd /is/ the anglicised version of Llwyd, but I'd absolutely love to tell Lloyd he's pronouncing his name wrong. It would be the first thing I'd say to him after I got over the shock of actually meeting him.
S1 King Clawthorne and Kid Lloyd Garmadon would be great friends
Also
Eda would adopt Lloyd and then suggest they steal candy from babies to bond
Lloyd would wonder where this mother figure has been all his life
Shitty little doodle of the two
Okokok
The Lego Ninjago movie, but instead of everyone immediately dropping their hatred of Lloyd when they find out he's the green ninja, they instead come to hate the green ninja, and accuse him and the others of teaming up with Garmadon to prolong his attempted takeovers and therefore increase overall destruction over time to make it even easier for him to conquer Ninjago in the long run
The whole 'people see a monster' speech likely completely ignored
And so Lloyd is back to square one, but now he hasn't got his beloved secret identity to hide behind anymore
I mean these people despised him for absolutely no reason other than his last name, to the point that a song about him being bad became a number one hit even though most people didn't even know him, and they always blame him for damages etc instead of the person actually doing the damage - Lord Garmadon himself
They completely overlooked the fact that they'd all be dead/imprisoned if Lloyd was actually evil and allied with his dad
It's not a stretch to believe that majority of Ninjago wouldn't give a damn if he was the green ninja, because it's still Lloyd Garmadon, who they've hated for 16 years, far more and far longer than they've loved the green ninja. I think it's reasonable to assume most of them wouldn't readily drop their hatred and bullying because of a speech. They wouldn't want to admit they've spent their whole lives believing something that's completely wrong, so they'd likely find ways to twist it, as many people do these days when faced with evidence that disproves their ideas
Idk if that makes sense, but like- I think it would be a rather interesting idea to explore (might be writing a fic about it at some point lmao)
Lloyd relaxing inside during a soft autumn evening rainstorm
Next im gonna explain where he got his scars, it's gonna be a little graphic, so don't read past here if you're sensitive to that
His scars are the mixed result of bullying and fighting his dad- the 'oy' his right hand is bc of someone carving 'garmaboy' into his forearm with a rusty knife, and the facial scar is from someone throwing a broken glass bottle at him in the street. The one on his left hand is bc he fucked up his wrist in a fight and opened up a huge gash. He probably just failed miserably to throw a sword at garmadon's mech to disable it, and ended up with it in his wrist.
Luh-Loyd doodles bc why not
Plus Nya bc their friendship dynamic is so good and I love it so much
Also the neon hoodie is bc I just wanted to and also bc uh- I have a hc that he gained a lot confidence in himself once he wasn't hated by everyone, and to reflect that he began to wear neon green. Also then he can use his old hoodie as a comfort thing to hide from people in bc they go nuts whenever he's around. They learn to recognise neon green so ignore the darker green.
Nya: I like writing on walls fuck you society, Dan Nya
Zane: Dan Nya this is actually a door not a wall regards, society Zane
Arin: follow your dreams
Lloyd: I literally only have nightmares
Sora: question everything
Jay: why?
Kai: yo girl on a scale of one to America how free are you tonight?
Pixal: that's a great line but underneath it someone wrote
Cole: Germany 1942

if i had a nickel for every time a character typically associated with the color green had recurring visions about monsters rising on a blood moon i’d have two nickels. which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

Kai and Cole's is cracking me up.🤣🤣🤣 I wonder what Lloyd's would be?👀
These are all good points for why you should vote Lloyd but I feel it will be amiss if we do not discuss Antigone a lil bit!
Here's a quick summary of Antigone for those of you who aren't familiar (of there are any inaccuracies pls let me know):
She's the daughter of Oedipus and Jocasta, so this take place right after that one (which I'm sure all of you are familiar with)
Her brother's agree to share the throne by swapping each year. Brother One decides that he isn't gonna give up the throne. Brother Two starts a civil war. They kill each other in a duel (as cursed by Oedipus to do) and Antigone's Uncle is now king.
Uncle gives B1 a nice respectful burial. He drags B2's corpse out of the city and declares that anyone who tries to bury him will be killed. (This is generally considered a Dick Move)
Antigone throws some dirt on B2. Her sister snitches on her. Uncle pulls her aside and says he'll cover for her this time but not to do it again.
Antigone does it again. In broad daylight. The hairs being her in before anyone else sees. Uncle says the same thing but he Really Means It This Time. Antigone says she will die on this hill. Uncle says aight, bet. Antigone calls him a pussy.
Antigone does it again. Uncle puts her in prison and sentences her to death.
Antigone is immured. (Buried alive, they put her in a stone box and walled up the exit)
The gods refuse to answer any prayers. A seer says it's because of the whole Antigone situation. Uncle tries to fix it by burying B2 and freeing Antigone.
Antigone is found to have hanged herself
90% of the characters then all kill themselves in an epic game of grief dominoes. Uncle is left to rule depressed and alone.
As we can see Antigone had many chances to Not Die but didn't take them because of her Fatal Flaws: Pride, Stubbornness and Loyalty.
While Antigone is Doomed, it is she who knowingly Doomed herself.
Lloyd is Doomed by a prophecy outside of his control. Everyone else's actions to delay the prophecy result in it happening sooner. As is the norm. Lloyd takes no actions to hasten, slow or avoid the prophecy because he's, like, eight. Besides asking his dad to please not destroy the world, of course (His dad is unable to do this as he is losing to the curse).
Lloyd never has a choice in the matter at any stage. He has to sacrifice these things each time and get up and keep going, even when he dies.
Lloyd's Fatal Flaws are: Loyalty, Selflessness and Stubbornness
I recognize that there can be debate over how to define tragedy, like Greek tragedies hardly all followed Aristotle's definition and those were in turn different from things like Shakespearean tragedy or modern definitions of "tragic character" but I think at the very least a tragic character should have a coherent arc, quality over quantity. A bunch of UNRELATED bad things happening to a character just because a show has gone on for a really long time isn't really telling a coherent tragic story. Especially when some of the bad things happening are literally repeats of each other. Like I haven't watched Ninjago but I keep hearing about how Lloyd had to kill his father 3 times, but I think reusing a "he has to kill his father" plot point over and over again while not having him die for real just to give each season a new plot is a lot less tragic than a more coherent narrative where someone just has to kill their father once and this ties into their overall character arc.
Very valid opinion
Oh what a fall from grace
Take my fucking pixal redesign. - I just want to say that I will proceed not to exist for another 12 years

My little pigeon feeding blorbo has been selected for my nightly brain rot. More information about my thoughts below the cut!
Bear with me, it has been a few years since I last revisited S11. Fugi-dove is a forming and human hybrid, ending up with him being a little bit silly in the mind. For most physical qualities they go back to human roots and mental/(ig) spiritual are more formling aligned. There are few execptions like the small fluffy tuffs/markings along his cheeks. His formling qualities are garnered from his mother, a formling who had been brought to Ninjago via the Master of Ice before Zane. She was tasked with watching over the new master in hopes that the powers would be in good hands, that no harm would be brought upon them due to the new abilities. Her form was the falcon who had inspired Dr. Julien to create the robotic one later with Zane's life as something that would hold great symbolism within his life, and something that he could use to all ways remember him. The reason behind bringing a formling into Ninjago, and how even did that happen!? In this head canon the Master of Ice knew that since he bore no offspring that his element would find a new master though they chose to manually transmit the power as it would be randomized anyways once he departs from this realm. Since he is completely randomizing who he gives the gifts too he brings the formling in order to make sure that once the power is obtained the right stands remain in good morals. The reason behind the formling is partially because of the way of watching over them in plain sight, and knowing that the FSM distanced himself from the Never-Realm, the Master of Ice being the first to not blood related transmit the element, made this in a way that his acts could not be rather noticed and frowned upon within the departed realm. The ability of bring Fugi-dove's mother is unknown though most likely had some connection with the elemental power of ice and the Never-realm being a flat land of ice and snow.
The reason behind the acceptance of the offer relates to how in the animated scenes/episodes of S11, we see the leader of the formlings have some sort of eagle as their creature. Fugi-dove's mother is the sibling of them and was rather regarded rather poorly compared to her brother who seemed to a wish upon a falling star, leaving the formling village although in the slightest bit painful to cut ties was nothing much and a new start in Ninjago sounded like a ticket to a new life. Falcon formling fell in love, had a child, had a another, and bam modern S11. Since the Falcon held symbolism with Zane, so does/was Fugi-dove. Seeing as he appears to be within the Ice-Chapter, his sole appearance is to symbolize Zane's change of becoming the Ice Emperor and going to the Never-Realm. Where his mother was to represent the past he is too showcase the future, sort of. His pure curiosity and friendship towards Jay is mostly reasoned (in my opinion) with that he has a stronger connection and lead towards Echo (Zane) as he was not directly tasked watch over the ice elemental descendants. Jay had gone through Skybound and uncovered Echo's existence instilling the oathly connection that run's through the formling blood within Fugi-dove's veins. With Skybound and the final wish washing that timeline away, it screws up the connection and leaves the only him with the one-sided connection towards Jay but for an unknown reason. His formling gene's are showcased with his connections to doves, the creature that he would be able to shift into if he had been pure blood. Though he also has a bit more meek connection with other birds, pigeons and seagulls he enjoys to hang out and feed regarding their place in the social class of animal kingdom and how he feels about himself and his rank in the social classes. In addition to the fact that seagulls guard Echo's lighthouse out at a sea. What was your main though process behind all of this? The formling hats and Fugi-dove's mask look oddly similar in a way I will base my connection with them.
@irl-morros-account I hope you like you're cape and armor!
A little idea I had laying in my bed. The basic thought process was: Ninjago's two characters who have literally been sent to a realm to rot in for literal DECADES. Morro, who's already struggling with his own exile from the departed realms finds a manipulated Zane and manipulator Vex. I mean both of them can't grow too old, and Morro probably would want a redemption for his deeds, the white ninja may be his path to doing it. Zane is interested in the departed realm, hearing that Morro is from it (even if it's not in the most pretty ways), it intrigues him to learn more about the former ghost, and how he may see his father one day. More Info underneath the cut!
Morro's literal backstory Once an elemental master dies they can not only see their family in the departed realm, but if they are not blood related nor can remember their family (cough cough, Zane), they can also meet the departed elemental masters that came before them. The little groupings of elemental masters hold great power, having the ability to traverse the 16 realms but regarded as something different than a ghost, more similar to a peaceful spirit or aura passing by. Unable to be seen by the living, sometimes depending on their mental will having the ability to converse in dreams and visions. When Morro finally get's sent to the Departed realm, as an orphan and being 50+ years old he cannot simply remember his family, so he get's sent and transported to the elemental grouping of Wind Masters. They don't like him. And so after a rather horrid argument the elders, the first elemental master of wind (FMOF), decides to send them down to never-realm, being previously used as a waste deposal of other Elemental Master's (more than just wind) that have gone "rogue" in the Departed Realm. The FMOF graced some mercy to Morro, convening with one of the form masters in order to see that they could return him in some sort of ghostly form, if they sent them down there as is, it would result him becoming living once more. Morro being the wonderous human (ish) being he is stumbles across this conversation, eaves dropping and taking notes. So when the final ritual(?) takes place he lashes out and does his best to ruin the spell, the only thing being that: 1. It works 2. He's not alive, and instead, has been merged with the storm. There he goes barreling down into the artic wasteland that provides an abundance of wind and storms to command, but despite the feast-like appearance of power and his element, Morro knows and regards this as a banishment. Dude got banished from death itself.
How Zane is connected in any of this Being also wonderfully banished and sent to the Never-Realm (via: Aspheera, Nacho Snake lady) he is also lost on his way. The only canon divergence or well difference being, when he's holding a staff he can feel another, stronger, rivaling, presence. Zane tries his best to fix the mech and eventually get's memory wiped by Vex. Back to the main plot line Morro additionally the counteracting sensation of another elemental power, and although it's not as strong as he isn't a master of Spinjitzu, he still senses it and decides to drift off on a storm cloud in that direction. Reaching the cave just when Zane plugs himself into the mech, disregarding the staff in general (in this AU I don't think young Wu would've told him about it), being confused in the slightest before getting a rush of Lloyd's memories he intercepted during possession of the titanium ninja, and dashing away behind the mech when he hears Vex's footsteps. Watching the whole exchange happen before his eyes, he decides to step in at the last moment, using his cool (very new) lightning powers. Being a somewhat super battle with the staff that he's honestly wonders how the ninja got a hold of, and his amplified form. During the exchange he does lay hands upon the staff and his powers go A-wire, somewhat breaks space and time, smacks Zane in the noggin to regain select memories. Vex fleeing the scene and barely recovering Zane prying Morro; who's form and right hand is practically melding into the staff, away from the supercharged stick. Although both mutually dislike each other they suppose they are both in the predicament of needing company for the days, weeks, and unbeknown to them, years to come. Morro not knowing how robotics or in general any mechanics in Zane works, opts for the: I'll just sit here and regret my decision as my partial robot friend has a reoccuring flashbacks for several decades while having an ongoing existential crisis I am little help to. Zane does believe Morro holds some interesting tales and description on, why and specifically how both are here. Morro just thinking it's something he can do to make up for acts, probably go see Lloyd (despite him probably bolting as soon as he see's the green gi), and maybe just maybe get somehow reaccepted back into the departed realms.
FSM: We need to find a way for Morro to be redeemed, my son when he was young made mistakes, though his Morro has paid the most for them. Cloud Kingdom: Well you see, we have tried multiple times... He was given another chance as a ghost you see. FSM: That was a singular time and under the grasp of the preeminent and destiny was warped to fit her pleasing. Cloud Kingdom: Fine we shall try the process once more, he is in wonderful hands.
... Cloud Kingdom: turns Morro into a fish.
Morro was a failure, everyone knew that, since the day he was born. His no where to be seen parents saw that, Wu saw that and destiny did too. He had tried and tried again to be something, something that mattered, something that would prove to the three to keep him around. Of course destiny had to constantly screw him over and throw him under the bus.
So the day that his second life has ended his third life began.
This time, this life, he embraced what destiny had out for him. Which was not much, mostly rot and spackle in the water depths of stixx, hear the screams of the cursed, and be crushed by the deathly grip of what remained of his late mistress. A hell hole customized just for him, how lucky.
It was a constant state of torture, the constant pain being branded into his mind as something that would always be there. A fact that living could not be without it. Time passed and nothing would ever change, repetitive cycle that had a beginning but no end. He certainly didn't get used to it, no matter how long it would last he couldn't (getting sucked out for the day of the departed and being trapped in a wax statue of himself didn't help either). Though it became a sense of home for the specter, a shelter from the barrages of thoughts that swirled in his mind. He didn't want to think about his previous lives, and with this treatment he was given, he didn't have to.
Pain reeked with a stench that stained ones mind, worming it's way inside like a weed. Weeds blocked the grain from growing, overwhelming the field and giving the famer an unfruitful harvest. The grain if you couldn't tell was his thoughts, his thoughts. These were of the purest, not warped by the Preeminent, nor tainted with Wu's guidance. And Morro feared them for that very reason.
Confrontation of any sorts never set well with Morro, he was skilled in fighting, not in whatever sort of communication which was this. When he was confronted by Wu he had been given a home and let himself drive himself to something he was not destined to be. When he was confronted by the golden weapons and destiny itself, he left what mattered the most and drove himself to death. The tiny confrontation with Wu, when his sensei offered him practically another life? Nope. He chose to let himself rot in here, for here he could be ridden of this belligerent, annoying, feature of life which was, confrontation.
He wasn't let off the hook that easily. He should've known. He was destiny's personal punching bag after all, he had spited, broke and disobeyed it. So when the glowing figure of the FSM master materialized of nowhere, he should've been prepared.
The pair's conversation was short, mostly due to Morro's stubbornness of staying in this little mindscape he cowered and hid in. Maybe he should've been less antagonistic, maybe the old man should've drank some weird tea to open his eyes and see that Morro was in no state to be given another life. The ex-ghost had clearly tried to convey the message in his tone, curt and annoyed. Though nothing ever had gone Morro's way before, this was not going to be the start.
The next thing that happened he didn't even notice until destiny nudged another in his way... That person was Benthomaar.
KILLING MYSELF KILLING MYSELF EPS 15-18 OF DR SEASON 3 PART 2 HAVE BEEN LEAKED WHAT
has this been done before
I agree. With the live-action we're definitely gonna have a discourse around the race of plastic characters with people getting disappointed a certain character wasn't a said race.
It isn't impossible, we already had discourse around Cole's sexuality, so his race wouldn't be far-fetched to have a controversy about.
Sorry for being a downer, but i am scared for the ninjago live action movie, not because i care about the casting, but because i know it is going to upset people regardless. I’m afraid that the actors will receive unnecessary backlash for looking a certain way, which they literally cannot change
I know i’m being sensitive, but it’s kind of upsetting to see people get upset about the way the actors will hypothetically look.
.
we'll stick together, it's okay
I'm really hoping NDR will somehow write a balance to this because these two ideologies are not inherently bad until pushed to the extreme (like all ideologies, I suppose!) I would be pretty disappointed if they painted the Ninja in the good entirely, but I trust Doc Wyatt!
So I already seen some people talk about how Ras teachings about pushing against the universe and taking what you want is actually good as opposed to how the teachings of Lloyd/ the ninjas side where it’s more….. about going with the flow of the universe is bad.
And I GET where they’re coming from. I really do! I understand that these ideas are/could be read as “it’s better to just let everyone walk all over you and let destiny do its thing and you have no control over anything and you just gotta let stuff happen. No you cannot fight for what you want and go against “the flow of the universe” or whatever” but it really is a matter of how you read it because the way I see it:
Let’s look at it this way. You cannot force people to do things they want just because you want them to. You cannot force yourself to love someone just like you can’t force someone to love you as much as you want it. You cannot forcefully change someone’s identity or personality just because you don’t like how they are and you cannot forcefully change yourself to be someone you really aren’t just to appease others. You cannot force and entire population to bow down to you because you simply find it fun. You cannot force everyone to agree with you and unleash anger upon them when they don’t. You cannot change nor rewrite the past and you cannot puppeteer others peoples lives because it would be more beneficial to you. You cannot bring someone back from the dead and you cannot create the perfect person. This is why, Rass ideas, about, taking things by force, bending the universe to your will to get the stuff you want, is bad. It’s selfish. It’s harmful. Hell it can even be harmful to oneself.
I don’t think that the ninjas teachings/ideas supposed in any way signify that ni matter how unfair something is you just have to let it happen or some shit like that because we know that’s not true, considering how the ninja are constantly fighting villians who do unfair shit. I mean this is pretty obvious but still.
Not everything’s gonna go your way and not everything is in your control and that’s ok. Once one learns to accept change, or how life doesn’t always go as planned, that some things that you don’t like might occur, they’ll be able to live at peace. As much as you wish for something there’s also things you have to respect. From boundaries to nature. From someone you love not loving you the way you wish they did to having to move away to somewhere new, being able to adapt and grow is something essential in life and essential towards being at peace.
Again, I understand why people would interpret the two sides of these ideas in dragons rising in such a way where both are right and wrong. And tbh I also agree and like seeing it that way, in the way that there should be a balance between both. Especially with all the themes about balance in Ninjago, but I still wanted to drop my interpretation of these ideas here and why I can also see how ras teachings can be wrong while Lloyd/the ninjas right. But again? The world isn’t black and white.
sora is lloyd and akita's adopted daughter. i take no criticism.
"KAI SHOULD'VE BEEN LEA-"
SHUT!!! HE WAS NEVER SUITABLE, IT WAS COLE! COLE WHO LEAD THE TEAM FIRST! COLE WHO WAS MOST SUITABLE BEFORE LLOYD!
(ps: I rlly love Kai, I js dislike THOSE Kai fans)
we as a society need to talk more about how cole was the leader before lloyd was old enough
This art is PRETTY.
they need to stop giving her yellow. i cannot
