So, if you haven't checked out my tips for volume, I recommend doing that, but if you're here to find out my one tip, stick with me. When I wrote that I was just starting to get curls on the top of my head, but it was only today evening I truly realized what was holding me, or my hair back. Plopping. Yep, you heard it right. Plopping. It's not that plopping is bad- It's extremely convenient and a great way for your hair to dry faster- But when your hair is bunched up like that, it also gets pressed down causing the roots to flatten, and there's pretty much no coming back once that's gone. The fact that I have coarse, oily and low porosity hair may all have an impact in this, but for me it just doesn't work. When I stopped this I got immediate results, but I never realized just why until now. Instead of plopping, just micro-plop, it's that easy!
So, if this is something you are struggling with, I suggest avoiding it and seeing how much of a difference it makes.
Hope you all are having an amazing day, and remember, you're all beautiful!!
I imagine being states, continents, and even worlds apart but still remembering you, being you halfway around the world someday
siempre estás en mi mente
Sometimes, the stain stick doesn’t work and you’re stuck with a green glowing glob on your clothes, skin, hair, walls, furniture, etc.
What I’ve found WORKS:
Salt: on hard surfaces, just sprinkling over the ectoplasm works; clothes you should bathe in salt water, carpet sprinkle salt on and then do a steam clean
Baking soda (who knew?!): same as salt but slightly more in quantity
Peroxide: found this out by accident, but hydrogen peroxide is really good for stains on the skin
Sometimes, sometimes, you realize that there are things more important than the work you have to do. Like yourself. Your heart. Your emotional and mental state. Don’t like stress from materialistic assignments ever compromise that.
Accept that you’re not gonna change :( :/
Go outside. Just do it. No matter how much homework you have. If it is a beautiful day, go take a walk. Listen to your fav music. Everything will be alright.
It IS possible to run away from your problems. Not indefinitely, but until you're ready. Sleep in, miss stuff, skip stuff, avoid stuff,..... haven't pulled out the Run Away To A Distant Land yet, but I was legit about to when I came back from a short vaca and really wanted to avoid the work I was dreading by heading off to Europe.
