Lumia 535 is changing the shoes, but dresses almost the same as the elder bro

We were waiting for this, but not under such circumstances! Today we can say goodbye to Nokia and greet Lumia 535 under new brand Microsoft. Though it's still unclear whether it's a complete rebranding of Lumia or just a onetime omission.

The device is bigger than Lumia 530, having 5-inch IPS LCD display and 5MP front camera, which is quite good for selfies, but not that good as on the non-budget phones. But it does not strive to take the highest ranks of the smartphone devices, as it offers only 960 x 540 resolution quality, and the same low quality of selfies will be seen on the screen. The rear 5MP camera is also equipped with a LED flash.

The 535 model is outfitted with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM. The inner memory storage space is presented with 8GB with possibility to upgrade it with microSD card, as always.

The design has remained mostly unchanged, the same rounded corners and a gloss or matte plastic back with different replaceable covers to brighten your days with orange, green, cyan, black and white color shades. The disposition of the hot buttons has left the same: on the right side there are volume rocker at the top and a power button right underneath it. The only significant difference is the small Microsoft logo, not attracting too much attention, but reminding you that it's not Nokia after all.

The smartphone will see the world starting from Asia, as it is equipped only with 3G wireless network support, so the starting place is picked to be more suitable, than the market regions with over flooded budget phones with 4G. But Microsoft is also keeping their goal to launch Lumia 535 in the EU region after the Asian triumph.

The phone will roughly cost USD 135, which is quite amazing for such a big display and processing power. But don't be skeptical to the new Microsoft's own range of phones, as we think that this is just a beginning for the company to take their own niche in the world market after few seasons and that's why they used Nokia brand at the very beginning.
