I was speaking to @aspergerasparagus about Mr. Ring-a-Ding/Lux Imperator being a personification of a non binary flag.
And then I decided that since they seemed non binary why not try on some clothes that are considerate feminine and see where it goes .

And the flapper dress ..... I mean, come on, Fleischer's style rubber hoes animation, 30's animation and coloring like the silly simphonies... I mean it's 30's obvious.
Meet Onyx Moon! The God of the Dark! His toon name is called Mr. Drizzle Dragonfly.
Onyx is a dragon fly. Similar to Mr. Ring a Ding/Lux, Onyx also got a cartoon as a vessel.
Since both Lux and Onyx are polar opposite and are the gods of Light and Dark, they originally couldn’t physically be near each other without hurting one another, unless it was during the Solar Eclipse(similar to Orion and the Dark if anyone has watched it)
But now since they are both Cartoons, they are now able to be near each other without hurting the other.
Onyx has five kids but only two are shown in the pics. They are made up of small shadows and dark energy. Which is why they look spiky and only have eyes.
Onyx also has a big scar on his left side of the face because of an incident between him and Lux. He also wears a small brooch of a crescent moon on the lapel of his suit.
I’ll dive more into head cannons between Onyx and Lux later on. :)

doctor who au where the doctor strips lux of his powers and they bring the toon along with them on adventures (reluctantly)
like like like what if the doctor was able to make a device
you know how lux gets bigger when sunlight/moonlight hits him? if the doctor made a device that took away the light from lux at the same speed he was gaining light so that he would stay the same size
guys i know that this wouldn't happen but it would be a fun au TRUST ME and i think lux might admire the doctor a little
please tell me if i sound insane

I have started to post the Lux comic- for real. This is the same 'teaser trailer' as before, now with colour! I will not be fully colouring the whole thing, it's a doodle comic after all, but with Light as a main character there are some pages which will require it for the story!

Do you think Lux/Ring a Ding would appreciate if anon lays on his chest, hearing his heartbeat? I’d think with the headcanon of being touch starved, he’d fall instantly asleep as anon breathes in and out :3
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS HC!! The God of Light needs other ways to get heat and having his s/o in his warm arms just listening to his heart beating is one of them… I just don't guarantee he can sleep that easily.

don't worry stranger, that's how we get 'em!! lots have crept in for a better look at Mr. Ring-A-Ding, and now they're having Classic Who lore explained and asking where best to start the show 😉 if this is what it takes to make a bunch of new Whovians, i'm all for it!

I need you to know I have the script for the first episode of this long form Lux comic series written, as well as a summary of the overall plot and the whole of the finale. I need to not start making it as a fan comic (which is why these are disjointed sample scenes) bc I don't have the strength and I'd lose all my other projects, so sadly I don't think it'll ever get made... UNLESS... RTD ARE YOU OUT THERE
(btw thanks to Lizz and Michael for feedback on the Doctor I'm not great at real human beens and drawing the most handsome man in history is quite frankly a bit intimidating)
