This was actually my first test run with Spine; something looking to become a slight obsession. Unfortunately, our current game code isn't set up to handle Spine or Spine->Starling->Flash so I might end up revamping this guy a lot just so it works with old code. Why it took me so long to get into Spine, I don't know. But now that I have, I've been digging into whatever art I've done to, quite literally, breath some new life into them. For those who don't know, Spine is a really neat program that makes it relatively easy to animate 2D art and even deform them to mimic 3D. Great for game dev or just fancy gifs if you like. This particular piece was from 5 years ago, and looking up the old employer I discovered that they actually released the game August of this year! Too bad I don't have an apple device.
