“Wra,” the dragon drones. “Hm, but that would be rude, wouldn’t it?” The man looks at it. “Brrrafff.” “We haven’t even finished the story yet.” Oh gods, please anything but more of that weird story! Hajime wants to scream. The dragon seems to agree with him and gives the man the stink-eye. “Okay, wow, now that was hurtful.” The man returns the look with a pout and a grumble. His brown hair is cascading across his face in gentle waves that reflect the dim light like gold and the sharp line where his jaw melts into his neck is teasing Hajime from underneath the collar of a sapphire blue robe.

The man allowed his eyes to travel across the land unknown to him. The revival of a gifted dynasty, the awakening of an angel, the birth of a healthy demonic halfling and the rising whispers between the trees and the wind. So many centuries after his own kind had been hunted and banished from these lands - Magic was returning to Miyagi. And no one could foresee what would follow it

After their daring coup d'etat and ascending the throne of Aoba Johsai, Iwaizumi believes him and Oikawa deserve a little break. But the universe doesn't seem to be willing to grant them one. From Prince Tobio hitting puberty, a rapidly rising Karasuno and tensions in all of Miyagi, to owls and cats messing with them - and in between trying to stay alive and together, the past is catching up to them.

This fanfiction was inspired by @findingschmomo‘s amazing work “And All the Prince’s Men” and can be considered a continuation of their story, although by now I have fallen so in love with it, I created a whole ton of my own lore around the scenario they created. I highly advise reading their work first, so you know the character dynamic and also because it is freaking amazing, but I guess with a little bit of headwork you don’t necessarily have to.

Ok but what if…

Akelios was a land filled with some ancient magic with mythological creatures like elves and such. Vere once had this races as well but some seal makes it impossible to use magic and makes this creatures invisible to the common’s eye

What if captive prince was settled in a Forgotten realms- like world? Maybe it is a part of Faerun that has been cut off from the outside world?

Akelion population that is not human is accepted as normal, Damianos knows and talks this creature’s tongues and has some magic bases, also I picture him as very charmed by those creature’s costumes and is very beloved by them. Maybe this magic inhabitants played a role in Kastor’s defeat?

MaYbE Kastor, as the absolute asshole he is, commanded killed many of the magic folks, much like Nilfgaard in the Witcher.

Like imagine; Damianos has just arrived to a very old ruins, injured and Laurent almost dead bc ✨some shit✨and some fairies come to him to help and Laurent gets healed by them and just stands there speechless like ‘wtf??? Damen?? What is this??’

Maybe Laurent saw some of this creatures as a kid and the seal was created by some resentful mage to prevent the Regent from using magic?? Maybe??

Kiribakuweek2020 day 3 - magic!!

I was really excited for this one cuz I'd been wanting to draw these boys in Hogwarts uniforms for a while now and finally had an excuse too. I had to put them in Gryffindor cuz of the whole hero thing an all but I think kiri has much more of a hufflepuff personality. <3

Power of the Musical Talent (Music Magic)

And some more world-building stuff! I don't think any of this counts as spoilers so no cut.

Trolls also have access to a universal, reality-bending magic via music. This music magic is all about connections; it can help willing participants communicate to a far greater degree than simple speech; it can unite a group to work towards a single purpose, such as building a large structure; it can even control plants, animals, and basic elements to the musician’s will. This access to magic is part of why bergens “feels true happiness” after eating a magic-filled troll. It's called, Musical Talent.

"A long time ago, singing is a magical feat every troll has. A troll with strong emotions could achieve the most wonderful things, with as little as a soft hum. Some trolls have a rare and unique ability to sing siren songs that seduce victims-to-be and leave them defenseless. Has the power to enchant/hypnotize people with their voice. They also can tame creatures and change the world around them when they sing. Have the potential to control the world through just her voice."

Depending on how powerful their musical talent is. But one troll is born with musical talent that is a force of nature to be reckoned with. One troll that has the singing voice of an angel (otherworldly, heavenly, phenomenal) is believed that their voice can change the world (can bring eternal happiness, or endless imprisonment).

Musical Talent Power: Trolls' musical talents are massively powerful. They can alter reality through musical mediums such as tunes, rhythms, songs, etc., and be able to cause various effects with this utilization. These can range from manifesting something from one's imagination to converting feelings and emotions into power, to even performing miracles. As long as the user can perform music and is in an emotional state to properly do so, the effects said above, and many others can be achieved. Everything is swayed in a flow of sound. People, objects, and even the world itself. All of these are freely manipulated from the simple music the user performs, being only dampened by their emotions and the skill of the art.
