Sony Corporation has just announced their new photo camera Alpha-A7 II (Mark 2), being an updated version of the popular A7 model, which debuted nearly a year ago. The series range continues and the main intervention for the new comer has become a 5-axis system of stabilization of the image with the shifting of the sensor. It is stated, that such a decision was taken as the most effective one and is used in the full capture cameras with no mirrors first time. Sony A7 2 has saved hybrid system of automatic focusing consisting of 117 dots, autofocus with the phase definition of 25 dots and the famous autofocus with a contrast definition, being the best of a kind for such level of devices. Besides developers have significantly adjusted the camera's work resulting the performance boost up to 30% more. Autofocus system also uses different algorithms of prediction and technology of objects identification to fix each movement one and a half times faster even during the non-stop capture with a maximum speed of 5 shots per second. The camera supports setting sensitivity: ISO 100-25600 and shutter speed range of 1/8000-30 seconds.
Like its forerunner Sony A7 2 is equipped with a 24.3-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor (35,8×23,9 mm и 24,3 million pixels) and quite effective image processing unit Bionz X, which cannot strain from handling the video with a resolution of 1920×1080 (FullHD) at 60fps in MPEG-4, AVCHD and XAVC S. There's also an electronic viewfinder having 100% of picture area capture, 3-inch display with an adjustable angle of elevation, built-in Wi-Fi adapter for wireless connectivity and NFC unit allowing to exchange the data between the devices nearby.
Second generation of A7 series has magnesium alloy frame with 127×96×60 mm size specifications and the SD/SDHC/SDXC, Memory Stick Duo/Pro Duo/Pro-HG Duo card slots cutout, using which you can be sure to have the recording speed up to 50 Mbit at a XAVC S codec. Furthermore on the panel there's a mic and earphones input located. The camera will easily work along with all the devices running under the iOS and Android through the app Sony PlayMemories, which will help you to transfer the images and video and the remote control as well.
