"jack, you have watched this movie at least 17 times in the past month."

"that's because it's a good movie!"

"good, we aren't watching it again."

"that sucks for you, because i'm older"

"y/n! jack is being a dumbass." the older woman sighed. quinn chuckled at his girlfriend's misery. "why do they yell for me? you're the one related to them."

just as her sentence finished, the rumble of heavy footsteps on the carpeted steps caught her attention. listening to the footsteps, she determined luke was in the lead, jack following behind.

"y/n, please help." the youngest hughes ran to her side pushing his oldest brother away.

“what can i do for you, lu?” the younger boy began clinging to her back when jack ran through the door.

“give it to me, you fucking fuck.” jack said and ran at his youngest brother.

“kind words, jackson. can someone tell me what the issue is here? and can you not like crawl into my girlfriends skin luke?” quinn said leaning against the counter close to where he was previously standing.

the boys began yelling over each other to explain their sides of the story: jack wanting to watch his favorite movie for the 18th time this month and luke wanting to watch the new scary movie that just came out.

y/n listened to both boys, trying to fully hear them over the other’s yelling. a migraine was definitely in the works for her.

“jack, i’m sorry-” “no!” “let me finish you big idiot. we’ve seen cars 2 a million times, luke’s movie is new and if we finish it, and none of us are tired, then we can rewatch cars 2.”

“yes!” luke said and let the girl go so he could run back to the living room, a sulking jack following behind him.

y/n turned to her boyfriend and sighed pushing her head into his chest. “just think, we gonna have 4 of those running around.”

y/n’s eyes widened, “quintin jerome hughes, you won’t be getting anything if you think we’re having four kids!”
