i think it's ok not to be social media famous, but my mistake was sort of... Assuming it would happen anyway, like as a side effect.

Like, I found Matt Gray's tumblr the other day, and it's got barely any notes compared to other stuff (yes i know it's also a bad example because he's inactive now, but) I was weirded out because he's famous irl, so I'd have thought that would make some difference? I'm fine with just existing here, but if the bounciest man on the internet isn't tumblr-semi-famous at least, I hope you can see why I'm having a bit of an existential crisis
