Mermay 2018 - Blog Posts

(5/04/2018) So it turns out I love this version of my art far more than I do the version I spent many, many… more hours working on… But yeah mermay is great (I’m not being sarcastic I’m really enjoying it)

So I decided to try to do mermay but spent most the time drawing mermaid/ siren gesture drawings cause it’s fun. I was gonna give up on day one and just say there would be 31 by the end but @meredithmcclaren appeared on my tumblr, and I had to art... I put down some color flats on a gesture drawing then doodled on top of it. (Half asleep art is fun)

Mermay Day 1: here’s my OC Crow who had a dream that he was a merman after Nezera told him not to fall asleep while eating and watching the Little Mermaid.
