Red one is named Onda and is my friend's character; blue lady is my girl Marjorie. They're half sisters with a dynamic in which Onda is the sweet, curious and docile one while Marjorie is wary, grumpy and overprotective. She also is extremely afraid and cautious around humans...but a certain doctor in town might've changed that 👉👈😳 (she married the guy without telling him she is a mermaid, the drama)

It's me again, this time from Paint.
So, continuing the topic of the Mermay. There is already something concrete in terms of the plot. When her new friend was injured by people, Koko didn't think of anything better than to take him to her apartment. Garmadon can freely stay on land and breathe air, but he's much more comfortable in the water, especially when he's injured.
Koko gave him medical care, patched him up and left him to recover in her own bathroom. He doesn't mind.
It seems to her more and more that it can't be gills.
It seems to him more and more that these are not just instincts.
Okay, the Mermay plan is complete. You can think of it this way: mermaid!Garmadon/Koko. It is worth making a couple of notes. Koko is a marine biologist and eco-activist who is a big pain in the ass of the corrupt system when it comes to environmental pollution. Garmadon, he... well, not a mermaid in the full sense, yes. It is a creature hitherto unexplored by science, but the local fishermen call it simply: "(sea) monster". Which, in fact, is not without meaning.
There may still be a lot of text here. They met, in short. And the woman who found a common language with fish much more readily than with people, found a new friend.
Although, it would seem, are people good for anything other than dinner?

HAHA HAPPY MERMAY this Merbee Fanbabies edition is like at least two mermays late XD. If you guys have seen my Charbee fanbabies before it’s Blossom, Volt and Buzz except now they’re Mer.
Charlie can switch back and forth from human to mermaid but stayed in her mermaid form during the whole pregnancy out of caution. It’s hard to get ice cream for your pregnancy cravings in the ocean lol. And mute Bee trying to explain ice cream (a concept he doesn’t fully understand) to a very confused Memo.
Optimus enjoys being a grandpa. Grandma Watson does too, but she’s… adjusting.

did some more doodles for the lighthouse keeper/merman AU 🌊
They meet because of a violent storm that brought Úna out to investigate some of her equipment being unsecured and smashed by the waves. While she’s out there, and to her horror, she sees a man caught in the low tide nets near the lighthouse and seemingly drowning. She doesn’t think twice before jumping in to rescue him, and at first thinks that maybe a giant fish is also caught in the nets too—all being thrown around by the storm’s winds and violent waves. It isn’t until she gets closer does she realize the man IS the fish, and a very interesting story unfolds 👀
