I agree with people that Mina calling Jem dad or daddy is cute but

imagine

Just imagine

Mina being taught Chinese by tessa or jem and calling jem ba. It would be so adorable and when she gets older she could have an interaction with jem like

Mina’s head popping ouy through the door “ba, can I go with kit to the mall”

Oooooh and when she needs something from jem she can just sweet talk her way with jem by speaking Chinese

“ 我很愛爸爸。我可以跟kit去买东西吗” batting her eyelashes

“Wo hen ai de ba ba. Wo ke yi gen kit qu mai dong xi” (pinyin kinda)

“My very lovely father. May I go with kit to buy stuff” (English)

Ahhhhh this would just give me so much serotonin
