THIS THIS ‼️‼️‼️

really not sure when it happened or why but personally I'm pissed that the queer community at large seems to have given up ground on the "people with penises/vulvas/testes/ovaries" language to sex & gender essentialists in exchange for the much less precise, much more demeaning "AGAB" language.

is it because you're scared of the word vulva? of acknowledging out loud that some people have penises? of recognising that many many people, including but certainly not limited to trans people, have mixed sex characteristics that cannot be accurately summarised by "afab/amab" as shorthand for "female/male"?

"in [GENITAL RELATED] situation AFABs will need to do X and AMABs will need to do Y" there are "afabs" with penises and "amabs" with vulvas. Saying this shit makes you look so unserious & honestly transphobic (given the ongoing erasure of post-op trans people within broader community). Intersex people and GRS have both existed for long enough (fucking forever and, decades, respectively) that we should well past making this basic fucking mistake.

quit referring to people by a vague & often violent event that happened at their birth as though it defines ANYTHING about how they & their body currently operate, and start using precise language so you at least look like you know what you're fucking talking about.

This is the gofund.me link for anyone who wants to help, it will be greatly appreciated

We have to help those who can not help themselves

We have a crisis that the Kenyan officials announced that they don't need us in their country and that if we have some where to go we should go. Since then LGBT asylum seekers have been travelling to south Sudan for help but we had decided to stay but the situation is so hard and we are not safe anymore. We are only 5people in the camp because all the LGBTQ people have gone to Sudan which makes our life more risky being living only four people in my community surrounded by a lot of homophobic people. Please if you can help us with transport to reach where our fellows are that will be a blessing to us and we will be grateful for funds us with transport to south Sudan

I understand why nfst focusing on transfems isn't more common but the dysphoria I have reading something thats hot as hell and needing to mentally autocorrect stuff from things like "good boy" to "good girl", him to her, etc

Anyway this isn't an attack, those works just weren't meant for transfems, but I'd love to see more mtf sub nsft

My argument has been made let us hope the counsel approves it

If any of my posts blow up please let it be this one:

Australia is currently petitioning to make it that all gender confirming surgeries for transgender individuals are covered by Medicare. This is absolutely huge as surgeries are super expensive even with private health insurance.

It doesn't ask for an address or phone number or anything so I think anyone in the world can sign for it? But I'm not entirely sure.

EDIT: yeah you gotta be a citizen, so if you're outside the country, if you could reblog this to reach more Australians, this would be amazing!

Here's the petition link:

Please reblog this and spread it as far and wide as you can, this is super important!

i hope i don’t lose followers or friends for this, but i don’t understand why people are so allergic to saying trans men. it’s always ‘trans mascs’ which i am not, i am a transsexual man. and it’s always next to ‘trans women’. why do trans women get to be full on women but i am just ‘masculine’? it makes me feel like i am not truly a man in their eyes.

Being an asexual trans woman is funny because it my existence invalidates the idea that being trans is a fetish.

Like I don't have fetishes and I'd rather jump in a volcano than have sex but some people are dumb enough to think it IS a sex thing🤷‍♀️
