To say humans are inherently good, one may miss the fact that greed, indulgences and vainglory is also part of their nature.
To say they are inherently evil, one forgets that humans are also capable of love, good cheer and restraint.
If humans are indeed good, then they have failed.
If humans are evil, then the concept of morals should be nonexistent.
In the end, being good or evil is their choice.
