Mylo is best boi….and I can’t be convinced otherwise.
Look at him
The boi!
Head empty, only Mylo
Couldn’t help myself! Have a Mylo
Here’s the boi, but he survived.
There is this one thought that's always on my mind 24/7 and I was wondering if it's possible if you can write about Powder and Mylo getting along because all I ever see is angst surrounding me, and I just want them to be happy even if it's only for a little bit..T-T
OMG YES! The saddest thing I've seen is the fact that, if everyone had made it out and all of Vander's youngin's made it to adulthood, Powder and Mylo could have maybe made amends and the thought just KILLS ME. So here, enjoy this fluffy little story.
The whole situation started with nobody else being home that evening. Vander was out checking on a situation with the Enforcers, and Vi and Claggor had gone out on a job, with Powder having been sent to the market to collect some groceries. But Mylo?
Mylo was stuck at home. Grounded.
It was a long story involving a graffiti incident with a couple other kids in the Lanes, and Mylo having actually been lucky enough to land a punch on the Enforcer that caught them. Only to then have to be escorted from the station by Vander, long lecture about respect ensuing. But now he was stuck at home, alone, forced to do dishes and clean as his punishment. So unfair!
Then Powder strolled in. Her cheeks were stained with tears as she carried the groceries in her arms and not the bag she had been sent with, which struck Mylo as odd. Her hiccuped sobs filled the space as she stumbled through the door and took heavy, laboured steps down the stairs towards the kitchenette. But Mylo paid her no mind. After all, comforting her was Vi or Vander's job, not his. So he kept his head down, only sending her small, hidden sideways glances.
Only to make sure she was putting the food away correctly, it wasn't like he was worried or anything.
But then she dropped a bottle of milk. Thankfully it wasn't a hard enough fall to break the glass, it just made a loud noise as it clattered onto the stone. But it was enough for the small girl to stop for just a moment, and then proceed to let out an ear-piercing wail as she crumpled], face shoved into the floor as she hollered and cried her little blue eyes out.
"Oh my gods, what the hell is your problem?" Mylo finally snapped, spinning around to stare wide-eyed at the little girl.
"I-" She spoke between loud sobs, "I dropped it!"
"Yeah no shit, Sherlock!" He continued to yell, with little regard for his bad language around the barely-6-year-old. "That's what happens when you use your puny little arms instead of a bag! Didn't Vi send you with one?"
Another huge wave of wailing, so loud that Mylo was starting to worry people outside on the street would hear. Beginning to panic, Mylo quickly walked over to the fallen bottle and picked it up, placing it on the counter (and having to step over his adopted sister to do so). "Geez, there! All better! Now can you please shut up before someone thinks I'm murdering you or something?"
But Powder continued as if she hadn't heard anything. "They-they broke the bag!"
This, admittedly, caught Mylo off guard. "Uh-what?"
"They broke the bag!" She repeated, stronger this time. "When they smashed Cecilia and Pickles, they took the bag and ripped it! So I had to use my arms to carry everything all the way back, and I couldn't even save them!"
"..and Cecilia and Pickles are..?"
"My bombs!"
Mylo actually had to take a step back from Powder, her screaming directly at him with a line of snot dripping thickly from her nose. "Geez, right, okay. Uhhh...who did this exactly?"
Powder sniffled. "I-I don't know...they didn't look familiar. Big kids, I guess, around the market."
"And they just, what? Came up and broke your shit?"
"Yeah! I-I guess!" She sniffled again, wiping her nose with the back of her hand. "I didn't do anything, I promise!"
Most of the times that she said that phrase, like after a mission she'd botched for them, Mylo would have rolled his eyes and scoffed in her face. But this time? Seeing her all torn up and melting down on the floor over all of this? A pang of sympathy actually hit his heart. He knew kids could be mean to skinny lil tykes like her, hell he was a perfect example of that. But it was different when it was him as opposed to someone else who she didn't know.
Slowly, the young boy lowered himself onto the ground beside her, leaning against the counter as he thought of what to say.
"Are...you okay?" He asked, and cringed at himself at how awkwardly it came out. "Like, did they hurt you at all?"
Her bottom lip quivered as Powder shook her head 'no'.
"Good, that's...something at least." He nodded. Then, after a long moment of relative silence, Mylo extended his hand and gently patted Powder's shoulder. She didn't lean into the touch, but she also didn't shy away from it, just turning to stare at Mylo with an inquisitive look. "I-" Mylo cleared his throat, "I'll kick your ass if you tell anyone I said this, but...I'm sorry that that happened to you. People are dicks, and you didn't deserve that. And...if you need me to walk you to the market a couple times after this, like, if you don't feel safe by yourself or whatever...just lemme know, k?"
To Mylo's surprise, Powder's response was to slowly lean her body into his, curling herself to lay her head onto his shoulder. It wasn't comfortable, but it brought her a semblance of peace.
"Thanks, Mylo." She whispered into his shirt, the leftover tracks of old tears soaking into the fabric. But he didn't push her away, instead wrapping an arm to lay his hand awkwardly on the top of her blue-covered head.
"Don't mention it, brat."
I GET SO UPSET WHENEVER THEY DONT ADD THEM!! Like please, they are also part of the family T-T
People talk and draw Vander and Silco co parenting powder and vi but leave out claggor and mylo. Cowards. 🤬🤬
While I'm taking care of fulfilling requests and attempting to finish my commission page, I decided to attempt to draw Mylo in my style using direct references. Always have to if I wanna learn how to draw a character! I know I'm a Claggor enthusiast, but you can not be a true Claggor fan without also being a Mylo fan. It is a packaged Deal. SO ALL MYLO FANS, REJOICE!!! feel free to ask ask and let me know your headcanons about him!!! I love these 2 brothers dearly and want to show Mylo the positive attention he deserves!
• Zoomed in HCs for anyone who can't see em!!! •
• Mourning (Alt! Timeline) •
Haven't updated my blog in over a year, huh? Well, arcane season 2 emotionally destroyed me, and even though I have my fair share of issues, I can not stop thinking about episode seven and the alternative timeline. I am not much of a fan that Vi had to die in said AU to bring true unity between Zaun and Piltover (Heimerdinger helped in that too obviously!) due to the fact the writers themselves have said they grew... tired of Vi in season 2, which led to her being so shafted. I can't help but having that statement leave kind of a bad taste in my mouth but anyways, it is a sad reality but we all know Vi would be more than glad to sacrifice her own life if it meant her family and the people of Zaun could truly live as one. Anyways, sorry about my rambling everyone, here's some family comforting one another because I will now ramble about them in this AU!!!
• I think the general sentiment regarding the family is that Vi was the oldest, Claggor one year younger than Vi, Mylo was 2 years younger than Vi, and obviously Powder was the youngest. Which meant after Vi's death, Claggor would most likely be the next one in charge of being the oldest sibling figure and we know that was NOT fun for him at all.
• Claggor definitely felt immense pressure to be like Vi, as in a caretaker and a leader, but we know he's always preferred to be one to support those he loves quietly from the side. Him and Mylo were forced to mature to take care of Powder and Claggor absolutely was the.. better sibling of the two. Doesn't mean the guy didn't feel any less stress and fear that he could lose another one of his loved ones.
• Again, episode 7 kind of established Powder as the new caretaker since Vander said "what would they do without you" but frankly I think it was a few years after Vi's passing that she decided she wanted to help Claggor take care of things and get some weight off his back, allowing him to focus on his own passion project of cultivating the hybrids as he spoke of in the episode.
• Anyways guys I'm super ill about Claggor and the rest of the family if you guys have like any angsty headcanons make sure to let me know because honestly, the drought was so bad for 3 years, now that he's back I feel myself slowly getting consumed!!!
• Extra! (Oc x Canon) •
Mandatory Xalas and Claggor content because of course I need to add Xalss into things, cue "And Bumblebee!" audio LMFAO. Still not too secure about talking about my OC fully in detail bc OCs aren't that popular in fandom spaces and face a lot of harrassment so.. I'll hold off until now. I just want Claggor to have a certain someone he can go let his worries ease, someone to comfort him while he's busy comforting everyone else.
Anywho, sorry for the long analysis and headcanons, I'm probably going to try getting more comfortable speaking about my own thoughts about this dumb found family that has forever rotted my brain for life. Hope you all enjoy some Claggor content, 10 Claggor fans!!!!
• HAPPY HALLOWEEN! •
I'm finally back from my hiatus and recently have gone back I to my arcane hyperfixation, so I decided what batter way to come back than posting a Halloween piece with my favorite fellows along with my arcane OC (Xalas) in there? Hopefully, all you folk have a happy and safe Halloween, and whoever is going out trick or treating HAVE FUN!! (also, I just realized I misspelled Halloween God dammit 💀).
Did these a while ago, just the act 1 kiddos cause I miss them a lot :'[
(First Tumblr post let's go 💀)
A floating mirror.
Your siblings smile warmly behind you. ☞
From the speculations I’ve seen exploring scenarios where Vi is transported to the universe in episode 7, I’ve seen two perspectives
The sad one; where her issues with guilt and self-doubt are worsened by a world that has everything she’s ever wanted and it’s the one where she died
And the happy one; where she gets to see who powder would have been, gets to see Vander and Mylo and Claggor
I feel bad that nobody seems to have realized the third funny perspective; that there are so many people there that she would reflexively punch in the face
I feel like all that was needed for the arcane childhood friends au to become reality was Jayce eating his damn sandwich.
Think about it, powder doesn’t notice the sandwich, she doesn’t find the hex crystals, no explosion, Jayce kicks down the door, grabs powder, Vi goes back for the rescue and punches him in the gut, Caitlyn tackles her and blushes furiously when their faces get really close, Powder start pulling on her hair, this goes on for like twenty minutes. Mylo and Claggor were off getting Vandor who returns all the items to Jayce, who decides not to press charges cause they’re just kids, maybe hires powder as an assistant. Caitlyn and Vi develop huge crushes on each other and everyone can see it
Damn it Jayce this is why you need to FEED yourself
