I know Cheka isn’t his brother but I feel like he would try to scare his uncle a lot
Leona was in his room scrolling through his phone but a sign escaped his mouth, he heard little laughter while his door opened slightly and shut quickly
Tiny footsteps getting closer and closer, Leona knew exactly what was gonna happen
“Boo!”
“Ahh, you scared me”
His face clearly unamused but the little lion cup couldn’t look more proud of himself
“I scared you again, hehe”
“Yeah yeah, you always get me”
Kalim has more than 30 siblings and most of them are probably young not to mention Kalim plays with his siblings too, I feel like they would try to pull a lot of pranks on him and trying to scare him would be one of those pranks
At the Asim Palace the heir eldest son and his attendant trying to reach their goal, the kitchen
Both of them were hungry for something but still haven’t decided on what to eat and them they came up around a corner
“I was thinking about making-“
Before jamil can finish his sentence a kid not older than 5 years jumps out
“Boo!”
He was wearing a white cloth with little circles cut out for the eyes
“Wah!? A ghost!?”
“Haha! No Kalim it’s just me!”
The ghost reveals himself, a little boy who couldn’t stop smiling, grinning from ear to ear about his success
“I thought you were a real ghost! I almost had a heart attack!”
Kalim kneels down and opens his arms for the little one, the baby doesn’t hesitate and jumps into his older brother’s arms
“You want something to eat? Jamil can cook for us”
“I want cake!”
Najma was was walking home from the market her mom ordered her to get some stuff and it was so unbelievably hot, eyeing the ice cream stand she held herself she already had the perfect ice cream at home
it was all she could think about, chocolate mint ice cream was her favorite, she bought a big box of it yesterday and ate half of it just thinking about the taste made her mouth water
She hid it somewhere safe in the fridge and put her name on it
Finally she arrives!
Happily opening the fridge and there it is! Quickly grabbing a spoon and then the moment she was waiting for! Opening the box of ice cream she finds the most horrific sight
“It’s…empty?”
She knew the culprit and she was going to get revenge on him
Jamil finally done with his chores, he was planning on listening to some music in his room, and when he opened the door…
“Boo!”
“…get out of my room”
“You could AT LEAST pretend to be scared”
Whelp plan A failed not that she expected it to work, time for plan B!
After Jamil was allowed inside his room he noticed something suspicious on his desk a piece of paper with a bowl upside down over it, when he realized what it was it was too late, she lifted the bowl and threw something at him, a cockroach! And quickly shut the door so he wouldn’t escape, she can hear him knocking from inside his room and pulling the door, yelling for help and trying his best not to set his room on fire
And when she finally lets him out he looks back at the cockroach only to realize it didn’t move it an inch.
He new at that moment that it wasn’t real, it’s a fake cockroach
When she finally stopped laughing she looks at his miserable face with a huge smug
“Next time don’t eat my ice cream!”
The conficting emotions that cause tension in the room are creating a friction that makes the room heat. The silence is echoing off the walls as they vibrate from the passing train a couple miles away.
"Lisichka." His voice is low and velvety breaks through the silence, feeding the fierce blaze that is standing just in front of him.
"No, don't lishka me." She shoots not caring how she butchered the name. She fixed her posture to be straighter as she looks dead into the eyes of the Devil himself. "You do not own me." She took a step closer, closing the gap between them. Realizing too late as she felt the air surrounding her electrify. "You believe you hold some sort of power over me. Telling me I'm your mate, that this feeling is all because of a pull the so-called 'Lunar Goddess' blessed us with." Her voice began lifting in pitch as she filled her words with emotion. "How do you expect me to believe anything that comes out of your mouth? After what I witnessed, I can't imagine what good could come out of me being here with you."
The heat in the room was scorching, at any moment a wild fire would start. The silence began once again causing a sigh to escape her lips.
"Thank you for proving my point. I'm leaving. Whatever this is, it's done." She stated pointing between the two of them before she turned to walk away. She paused just as she placed her hand on the door handle. There were other things on her mind. Other questions. A silent tear she didn't realize had escaped rolled down her cheek, she inhaled deeply.
"I'm not sorry." He finally spoke. Earning him a half assed.
"I kinda figured that from the mome-" She cut off mid sentence as she was turned around and pinned against the door. Soft, warm lips collided with hers. The contact nearly had her melting to her feet.
