Oh to be a dragon floating around in space...

Yo, just in case you haven’t noticed, I’ve ditched the name “ScottofNorth” as it’s kinda worn down on me since I’ve had that as my online name for... a long time. Anyhow, I’ve meant to change it for a long time, and I think “AfterimagedKid” kinda evokes a little more of what I intend for my online presence: Illustrating and doing so with “childlike wonder” or some such nonsense. So yeah, if you’re scrolling beyond this post, then you’ll start to see some older stuff, perhaps watermarked or tagged with different names. Maybe I’ll go back and update it, but... it’s really not on my to-do list.
Going forward, TL;DR: “Scott of North” : A more personal name, if you see this it’s probably outdated and old and no longer in use.
“AfterimagedKid” : My modern display name, best used for my illustrations going forward. Note, I’ll still post the “rare” animation, but it won’t nearly be as frequent, at least until I can master some more complex programs, (I’m coming for you, Blender).
“North Animation” : A “company” name where I’ll still occasionally use for more professional settings.

My sister is making me a Two-Face cake for my 22nd birthday. She’s gonna take this image I drew and print it on edible paper.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME - PT. II
11. What songs have you completely memorized? I don’t listen to a lot of lyrical songs, but some include “Die Anywhere Else” from Night in the Woods, “Lone Digger” by Caravan Palace, “Ghosts” by Mystery Skulls.
12. What would you rate 10 / 10? Anything? Star Wars, probably. It has it’s ups and downs, but so does any story. Lewis Carol's “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, Frank L. Baum’s “The Wizard of Oz”.
13. What job would you be terrible at? Anything mathematical and/or physical. I’m a frail white boy, and I’ve got Dyscalculia.
14. What are you absolutely determined to do? Art, art, art!
15. What skill would you like to master? Art, art, art!
16. What website do you visit most often? Gmail. I’m old school and always use my Email to communicate. Other than that, SoundCloud or YouTube.
17. What would your perfect room look like? Small, but filled with little things I like. Imagine Ursula’s house from Kiki’s Delivery Service.
18. What movie title best describes your life? Scott (North) Pilgrim vs. the World
19. What age do you want to live to? Whatever life wants that to be. Old enough to see grandchildren, probably.
20. What kind of art do you enjoy most? Pen(cil) and Paper, Digital, Props, Jazz
YESSS!
I love Night in the Woods and I love K-eke!

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
1. What shows are you into? Gravity Falls is a big one. Other shows can include She-Ra, Johnny Bravo, Samurai Jack, Batman the Animated Series -- the list goes for a long time.
2. What’s your claim to fame? I’ve met and shook hands with James Baxter and Floyd Norman. Both are amazing animators and you should know who they are.
3. How often do you play sports? What is a “sport”? Actually, I want to play games like Capture the Flag more often, but as a young adult, it’s hard finding a group.
4. Are you usually early or late? I am always early. If I'm not, I feel very bad. Even if it's just to visit a friend.
5. What quirks do you have? I act very much like an old man. Either intentionally or unintentionally. I have knee problems that act up with bad weather, but I also just listen to 1920s music unironically and learned the jitterbug when I was 12.
6. How often do you people watch? I need to do it more. I remember going to an airport and seeing someone who looked exactly like Mark Twain. Except he was wearing a Hawaiian Shirt. Couldn’t get a photo in time.
7. What’s your favorite drink? Orange Juice! Or juice in general. Ask me about my Japan experience with Orange Juice one of these days.
8. What do you hope never changes? War. War never changes. Actually, I hope that changes. Uhhh... I hope creativity never changes. We don’t need a “Martian Chronicles” to happen to us.
9. What’s your dream car? 1939 Mercedes Benz. Or a golf cart. Or the Batmobile (any variation works). Either of those would be nice.
10. Where would you rather be from? If you asked me when I was young - the big city. If you ask me now - in the middle of nowhere surrounded by Oregon forests.

Meet Rover! He's my Homebrew Canus OC in my friend's game, Storm King's Thunder!
He may be bipedal and wields weaponry, but he is a loyal dog through and through.

He's a Rottweiler and Labrador Mix.

Sometimes, making an emoticon (”emoji” for all you cool kidz out there) is the best way to come up with character design. What main features does your character need to tell your audience who it is?

My sweet dotter, Mellow reached out and it looked like a selfie.
Drew my wizard's familiar. Her name is Skittles. She's an African Grey, but her feathers glow and reflect in the sunlight.
Since she's a parrot, she's able to recite my spells and randomly casts them. I leave the DM in charge of when and what she casts.
Needless to say, Skittles is a fun troublemaker.
Over the Garden Wall is one of my all time favourite cartoons.
Note: This is not the style of the web comic. It was just a fun project I did with Maya. First time making a 3D human too!
A quick animation of showing my little sister how to use stop motion animation.
Two old robots find love in a forgotten world.
Bonus points if you can read my terrible Cuneform and Sheikah-ese.
Art Tip: Set a time to draw. If you forget, draw as soon as you remember. (That's... what I just did today...)
Here's my most recent piece in my sketchbook. Proportions are difficult, man!
Art Tip: References are important! Never stop using them!
This is my son, Spook. He's a suave muscle cat who will steal all the lady cats.
Yup! Took me a week for the next nerd night, but I didn't like the thing I drew, so I wanted to try again.
