my brief post about imagining kremy in a gatsby spawned from some WIP i wrote up. and bcuz 3 other ppl also agreed he would look GOOD, here’s a snippet from that WIP
Kremy graces him with a soft smile, and Gideon’s throat clicks as he gulps. “Well, I’ll see you around, cher.“ Without another word, the gator folk tips his gatsby and saunters away.
Gideon’s still left in awe as he watches him make his way down the dirt path, his tailing swishing lazily from side to side as he disappears into the crowd.
He didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye.
The genasi feels an unbidden sensation tickle his gut, a surge of warmth—some might even say butterflies. Instead of pushing it away, Gideon lets it stew. Finally turning away to make the short trek back to Irony. His new pouch of slightly bruised apples in tow. The beginnings of a grin over takes his face, and the flames of his beard and hair burn just a tad brighter than usual.
