There are lots of Bluetooth-speakers that differ from each other in a shape or color having similar functional abilities. OM Audio's Bluetooth-speaker looks really impressively beneath the others and is capable to float in the air due to the principle of magnetic levitation.
Actually, the OM/One speaker system consists of a ball with a diameter of just 3.54 inches with a weight of 0.75 pounds, built-in Li-Ion battery, small 75 mm speaker and built-in microphone for use as a headset. Output power of the speaker is 3 Watt, and the time of the battery operation held is up to 15 hours. The loudness of the gadget is stated on the level of 110 dB. Wireless connection is established by Bluetooth 4.0.
The ball can float in the air at a height of not more than one inch above the complete stand that is connected to the power supply. Fine sound quality you can improve is reachable by adding a second OM/One in a row and pairing it with the first device to produce stereo sound. Also it allows you to use it as a hands free system.
The OM/One Bluetooth levitating speakers are available for pre-order in black, white or "disco ball" for $179. Expect the first lot will be shipped in December. And now a short video for reference.
