time for a miraculous ladybug rant !
bc ive never been able to actually rant bout this to anyone so imma do it here
I hate the sentimonsters.
Let me revise that statement: I hate the "human" sentimonsters. You know, like Adrien? And Felix? Yeah I hate them.
What sucks is when I would rant about this literal years ago I would just say "i hate the 'Adrien is a sentimonster' theory" BUT NOW I CANT SAY THAT BECAUSE IT'S FCUKING CANON

Like initially I hated the theory bc it erased Adrien's humanity. and the idea of Marinette not only liking, but ENDING UP WITH a sentimonster is so weeirddddd.
You can imagine how I felt when season 5 happened...
I was the happiest girl on Earth of course
I could go more in depth like I have before but atp there's no point complaining about it bc i can't do anything about the reality in the show :') unfortunately..
I was reminded of my hatred bc I'm rewatching season 5 and Adrien did something in episode 2 that gave big "aww Adrien is so dumb" energy except my next thought was "it's prob cuz he's a damn sentimonster😒"
Which then ruined my viewing experience so I had to pause and write this post :)
imagine marinette getting told by friends and family Hey Girl. we think you might have adhd. and they cite symptoms she shows but she accidentally connects them to stuff she started doing after she became ladybug and now shes like OH NO… if i deny this disorder they will suspect my identity… YEAH I TOTALLY HAVE ADHD YOU GUYS!!!! so she thinks she’s keeping it up for her superhero life and nods along to all the tips and tricks for adhd people her loved ones find on the internet. she flashes smiles as they hand her meds that could help and only pretends to take them because she’s Lying About It Right. but then one day at patrol chat noir tells her hey um recently a friend of mine was diagnosed with adhd. have you heard of it? because i think you might have it. and her eye twitches
