Would you believe me if I told you I've been working on more Catfish for Mermay (Purrmay?) since April???
Unfortunately, work has been leaving me wiped out after 11-12 hour shifts this month, so I'm a little sad that I didn't have the time to prepare a series of pictures to present throughout Mermay. But something is better than nothing! I'm almost done with the rest, but juuuust in case I can't actually upload them until after May, here is one of my favorite Catfish so far!

Decided to finally post some of the cleaner sketches and doodles I've done over the last few years. A friend has been trying to get me to post some of these for a while now. I am in the process of writing a fic for these guys; the release date is scheduled between 2024-3000. So I might as well introduce them to you in the form of art.
Been drawing some side characters lately, so I decided to do one of my favorites. Her name is Iris Mason and I had so much fun with her♥♥♥

I really like drawing hair, as evident by many of my OCs.
No meds, can’t draw to save my life right now. So here’s some random doodles back from 2021–none of which were done at the same time–of when I threw an OC into a Wonderland AU/scenario! Yet another thing in my files that I forgot existed!

I had as much excitement for Sprigatito as I did for Fennekin. And just like Fennekin, I HATED its final evolution for a while... but then learned to like it a lot. Meowscarada looks like its gonna show me a magic trick while stealing my watch ya know? I love it.
Back in the summer, I went through a random creative spell that was focused on creating a bunch of extraterrestrial critters to be encountered and documented by a colonization team from Earth. I didn’t get very far, but this was one I actually finished and really liked.
Someone on discord suggested I use a random animal generator and make hybrid critters. The generator told me to draw a corgi and a sea slug, so that was my warmup drawing for today.
Crowded sketch page of a character I’ve had in storage for quite a while. I think playing as a Novakid in Starbound recently gave me the final push to solidify his design.
My old boy was mega excited about all the snow this past week.

So I tried out Heartbound and I really like it so far. I can’t wait until it’s finished. I like Lore a lot, but that poor kid needs a good night sleep. And a hug.

— So… I’m not one to post OC inserts, but after a little coaxing by a friend of mine, I decided to post this one. Some time ago said friend, @generalfabulous and I did an rp to see how my character Grace would react to UF!Sans. Which turned into a novelplussequels&otherworks *COUGH* It went well, and we both love their dynamic; a slightly antagonistic big brother/hyper little sister relationship.
Rae would be the type to wear boots under a ballgown.

Doodled this last week when I couldn’t sleep. Been in a little bit of a rut with my art lately, so I figured I’d go ahead and post this.
Frozen Fish.
Had to take a sudden trip up north and this image has been stuck in my head, so I finally decided to draw it.
I don't mind 13 °F and I don't mind 60 mph winds... however I don't like it together.
It’s the bad best guy. First drawings and sketches of 2019, had to make it good! I actually did these last week, but I was just now able to clean them up and make them presentable.
My hands won’t work to draw anything today, so here are some sketches and doodles of Rae from a while back.
A fresh start(ish).
I realized the other day just how little I post here on Tumblr. I started out with a lot of inspiration and tons of things I wanted to do… but then things kind of tapered off for various reasons, and that’s pretty discouraging when I think about it.
But now, I’m going to try really hard to change that! While I can’t make any promises due to life’s uncertainties, from now on I’m going to try to do more than simply exist here on the site and start boosting my activity. Be it posting art, writing or even reblogging, I’m going to try to liven up my tiny patch of Tumblr once again.
I’m not really sure how many of my followers would care or even take much notice to this post. But for the those that do, well I’m glad you stick around, and now you know what I’m planning on.
