I showed one of my non-MDZS friends this part of the book

And asked her what she thinks happened

This is how it went:

Friend: they fucked, right? This has "i had a one night stand with the CEO not knowing who he was and then i met him at the office next day" vibes.

Me: no, they actually had a sword fight. And that's not an innuendo.

Friend, visibly disappointed: oh... well, i think they should have fucked. It wouldn't have taken the story five volumes if they did, for sure.
