i think of it as like an arm and a hand our hands are our own puppets. not controlled by muscle but by tendons. like puppet strings if you peeled away the puppet it'd leave behind a bunch of confused branches that don't have anything to use as a vessel i think their arm connects to the “spine” of the puppet and goes up to the head. and theres a brain thing connecting it to the umbilical i like to give iterator puppets tails that conenct to the arm ^_^ cause ingame the arm doesnt connect to their back. it connects to their waist/tailbone area favourite post at the moment btw
